Re: MPQ components order
I can try. Warcraft III maps are mpq archives, the rough format is specified here ( http://zezula.net/en/mpq/mpqformat.html ). You can open a map file with Ladik's mpq editor ( http://zezula.net/en/mpq/download.html ) for instance, go >Tools >MPQ Tables to display all the components with their respe...

MPQ components order
Hi,
ENT and some other hosting bots fail to work with maps whose hash and block tables are positioned between header and the included files, albeit wc3 can read them.

Re: Permanent bots
LOL our cooperation in bettering the whole thing only for garena? This is all for Garena? How did you jump to that conclusion? If we took down our "perma bots" then that would mean I would be completely out of a hobby of which I love to do You got to say "the majority is out of a hob...

Re: Permanent bots
The whole migration to Garena happened because bots spammed the game lists in BNet. On garena, it was possible to have a relatively small delay. Therefore bots were not as important. Your asking to get rid of autohosting because you do not like the maps they are hosting or they are filling up garena...

Re: Permanent bots thread closed
That belongs in the other thread not here, and can be discussed without mowing down one another. I do not see the deal, why it is a problem to move the thread to General Discussion? Even if nothing happens, we can at least discuss the issue. Just because you disagree wholeheartedly does not mean it'...

Re: Permanent bots thread closed
No one could recognize what your complaint is so how are we supposed to know about it. Also nothing would happen if it is in the general discussion. You have moved the thread yourself and indicated the action in 2nd reply, then applied local rules. There are no rule threads here btw which would tel...

Permanent bots thread closed
https://entgaming.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=16006 The thread has been moved to Archive without further ado after Yondaime got to have the final word. Should I evaluate that as getting censored on the behalf of a single mod in a quick reaction? My thread was not a suggestions thread in the f...

Re: Permanent bots
How do you expect other maps to emerge if you keep forcing the same old relicts? That only happens if someone is ruthless enough to set up new autobots to promote them. The demand for those maps you speak of is partly artificially crafted like advertisements and brands do. What are you saying with t...

Re: Permanent bots
Yes, there are ENT bots on garena, constantly hosting the same maps even if empty.
To put it tenderly, not everyone likes those maps. Moreover, it becomes monotone after months and years.
Yondaime wrote:Why should ENT quit autohosting it goes perfectly fine, dota, nwu, legion td etc etc.

Re: Permanent bots
Please explain what you mean by "refrain from perma bots/limit it". Either avoid them altogether, only host if you are attending the game yourself. Or limit the number of games/simultaneously active auto-hosts to a max of half the slots available. Also give temp-bots higher priority. Perm...

Re: Permanent bots
I know nothing about garena It's not about Garena in particular. If you host in BNet or LAN, wc3 displays only the 20 newest games at a time. Well, in BNet, it updates periodically. In one way or another, games that are not rapidly being rehosted have their visibility strongly restricted. It was im...

Permanent bots
Hosting bots were initially introduced or should have been introduced in Wc3 because not everyone was able to host for themselves back in the day. Also, they improve the comfort, reduce delay, unite the scattered user base of different realms/platforms and provide further functionality enhancing the...
