Re: Legion TD 2: Standalone Sequel to Legion TD
Another good idea in my opinion would be in case of a disconnect from a player i would suggest that another player from his/her team (which can be decided by a poll or something similar) should take over the control of the disconnected player (as you all know how hard it is to play 3 vs 4 etc) and ...

Re: Legion TD 2! Standalone Sequel to LTD
@broud3r @Jules I stand corrected. But to be clear LOL and Dota2 dont have the same business model. LOL unlocks have impact on the game, Dota2 just sells skins. Am more in favour of the latter. Am aware that, am not the target demographic since i have time to play 1 or 2 tops games a day, making ju...

Re: Legion TD 2! Standalone Sequel to LTD
Donors get earlier access to (all) races and maps/ladder, making them having the advantage of testing and familiarizing themselves with all the different features. This will be a big advantage if the donor is an experienced player. To clarify, Aqua tier+ donors get early-access to the game through ...

Re: Legion TD 2! Standalone Sequel to LTD
I was very excited hearing about it when this came out, but as i was reading more about it became clear this was gonna be a pay2win game. A business model i do not support in games unfortunately. I would rather he tagged a price on it to go, instead the p2w model they intended to follow. Pls correc...

Re: New ranking system to stay or?
@Jules no offense mate, but this is kinda the In-House league section. So this system only exist withing the closed In-House League games. I was just offering my thoughts on Elo vs win rate, as someone who has had experience with distinguishing those things and explaining the math behind them. Not ...

Re: New ranking system to stay or?
Here is a player called "king24". Let's say he plays 1000 games with a 47 % winrate. He would win 470 games and lose 530 which equals to 60 more losses than wins. 60 times 15 subtracted from his initial 1000 elo = 100. I did this math quick but I think it's right. Here is a player called ...

Re: Legion TD 2: Standalone Sequel to Legion TD
First of all, sorry for the delayed response, guys! I was traveling all week and shot the Kickstarter video with Lisk. @Akitos: Sounds awesome to me, I love it! :) So, what actually are the current thoughts about the King anyhow, @Jules? We're evaluating exactly what to do with the King - and the ex...

Re: Legion TD 2: Standalone Sequel to Legion TD
I guess the most important things have been mentioned already, so I'll just comment on a few statements that I personaly can't agree with. it surely depends on the balacing but in general i would allow crossing on the normal games but disable the possibility on the mastermind mode. I'm sure you mea...

Re: Legion TD 2: Standalone Sequel to Legion TD
Many points have been mentioned by all the way more experienced players than me. Just my thoughts about cross: I would keep it. It's basically a different game mode, which can also be nice to play if people want. But is has to be turned off in, what everybody calls mastermind mode, I guess. One thi...

Re: Legion TD 2: Standalone Sequel to Legion TD
i dont know about the new engine and the current plans with the game and i assume some of the problems getting fixed with the new engine anyway so i just throw in some of the current thinks about the map. wc3 has problems with a high amount of units(with their collision) so they dont move properly ...

Thanks for the heads up. Clogging is an artifact of Warcraft 3. It won't be an issue with Legion TD 2.

Merc will be removed. That was not part of the original game that Lisk designed and was added later.

Re: Legion TD 2: Standalone Sequel to Legion TD
Yeah, sorry, I didn't mean like tactical balance changes (e.g. this turret should be stronger). More so, inconsistencies and things that are exploited and things that can be systematically improved. For example, if crossing is always right or never right or some big design flaw with the game. Tactic...
