would be player do not seem to be part of the community, potential new player are mutually exclusive of community, the skill player.
That is the idea of definition i had for my post, point is to integrate and retain them into the community, therefore a better gaming experience as well as an increase in overall community/population.

Re: desert island
Island defense fills up quick still. Most people are nice to new guys as long as they are willing to learn... On the other hand when we get new players who do not like to listen to any advise is when people start flaming.

Re: desert island
I've played this game forever, like, when Luci was the only titan and the whole top right was 100% different. That being said, the community in ID, whether the game is hosted by a bot, or by a person, always has, and probably always will be, hostile towards new players.
Why? Simple, this is a game where one person dying prematurely can ruin a persons plan. I can't count how many times over the years that I've started establishing a base, get part way through building towers, only for someone to die and the titan to beeline STRAIGHT for my under developed base. Is it possible to survive this? Sure, I've killed plenty of titans with a base full of level 1 towers, but the fact that I've had to put so much more effort into it is annoying. A new player can and will make or break a game. Over the many years ID has been around, its the one thing I've always seen in the community, and it would take a ton of effort to get over it.
Thats my take on it as someone who's played this game for a long time. It simply isn't a problem that you'll be able to get over, even if ENT is the only bot hosting ID.
