Mass Towering Guide

Postby NotYacapo » Sun Nov 15, 2015 10:37 pm

This is information for how many towers a base can fit that still hit Titan decently, note that most you can't have lumbering there and you need Mega's so some of the back towers can still hit decently.

Euro - 51
Base Above Euro - 60 (no shelters)
Broken Fountain - 51
Oklahoma (Mid-Left because of the little strip I call it Oklahoma) - 50 (no shelters)
Ovaries - 73 (new euro m8?)
Bay - 57
Top Of The World (Top Left) - 52
Beach - 61
Tommy Gun Base - 56
River Base - 46
Directly South-West of River Base - 63
Directly Above Fountain - 53
Tomb Base - 55
Sky Base - 57
Very Top Mid Base - 46
Bottom Left Base - 54
Literally Right to Top Of The World - 64

tommy gun I didn't know how to wall well but I did standard walling nothing special and came up with 56. I'll post pics of all the bases in a minute

I did a few of these, to remind me of the walling I do when deep walling hard-to-re-wall tower bases with bonus other information like worker block spawn points and building placement:

All towers are 900 range standard mega towers

Top left ogre 53Towers | 4 inner wall Layers | 17 Walls (Many used to hate this walling, but it's becoming a really popular walling style now, or similar deviants of this due to how easy to re-wall it is)

Beach base |46 Towers | 5 wall layers | 3 inner wall layers | 11 walls (Every building is near-perfect in this picture, except one wall I do differently)

Tomb ogre | 51 towers | 3 Inner layers | 13 walls | (Not 100% sure about this base, I find this base too cramped with no choke point, but a good base nevertheless)

Broken Fountain | 44 towers | 3 inner layers | 12 Walls | (I like this walling, tbh)

Added a few more bases I made ages ago in my imgur album:

Skybase: http://i.imgur.com/zuiPa1a.jpg

Couple pics of aztec deep/standard:

Deep base, in case you have a waller: http://i.imgur.com/gtB0u2N.jpg
Personal favourite and recommended: http://i.imgur.com/v8M9TEq.jpg

With this above walling, you don't have to worry about minions nuking you from the west side of the base for optimal re-walling. The base is still a little cramped though, but it's a really nice solo base spot due to its low amount of walls, comparable to the OP top right base (river base).

@Burn what's your reason behind walling Broken Fountain that way? I didn't analyze, but at first glance it looks like you sacrifice a few towers for it

Deep walling. I've never seen anyone deep wall in broken fountain because if you do, you'll have a triple inner layer which is incredibly hard to re-wall. If you wall it my wall, it is only double, which is piss-easy to re-wall, sacrificing only two towers. Also, 44 towers is plenty for a solo towerer with a waller.

You can see how hard it is to re-wall in this deep-walling picture: http://i.imgur.com/2kDpl1S.png If the titan went through the middle of the wall structure, it'd be near-impossible to re-wall unless you are tank as fuck, or have good escapes like Faerie or something. Also, the walling is off.

Same as the tommy gun base posted above.

Thx burn.Really good resource. I havent seen some of those walling before. Also what about putting tower on right at beach where workers are since tit mostly breaks throught right at beach.

I prefer to cut down on RC space first, because it reaches more walls. I always need 3x3 space for 150/150 food for worker blocking, unless you don't need lumber and can survive with little to no workers.

The point of over tower is build more towers then you need and they should be in range atleast when they break the last wall, some bases got towers that arent even range on that point and i dont know if this fact is right but anyways ^^ you walled some bases wrong like tommy gun base and euro.

You can't say a definitive number because the tower ranges are different. 71 900 Range towers in ovary aren't going to all hit while mak's probably will.
