Leaving builders should be banned

These days, I'm fine with titan leavers. Titan leavers make the next lobby fill faster, and chances are if the titan is dumb enough to leave and receive a likely 2 day ban, then he's probably just another staller titan. This says nothing about the rule, I think the titan leaver rule prevents decent players from leaving, which is a good thing.

The bad thing is builder leavers to deny towers/units/builders, and intentionally observers. This denies feed from the titan and makes it incredibly unfair, it's something I could get behind if these guys were banned.

As for builder leavers, i'm fine with that, as the game is not geared towards balance, and a lot of the time it's not geared towards builders if there is:

1) A really good titan
2) Staller titan who is too high levelled to gank.

The problem with builders going -obs just to fuck over the titan and make the game 9v1 is just ludicrous. That's something I can't look over, even though it can sometimes have the same effect as just a builder leaver, but it's just a player thinking he can't win since he's too shit, and should have just left lobby to join next.

Builder leavers to deny towers/units/builders? I don't hate these players, I'd probably also do it if I was bad and got trapped 24/7 by decent titans and had no idea how to run tag or wall walk. Sure, it's a dick move, abusing mechanics so that the whole team can deny the buildings and possibly some extra buildings + the builder itself, but it should still be ban-able, so that it isn't unfair for the titan that he spent the last minute or so trying to trap some scumbag who just decides to leave in a micro-seed.

Miscellaneous Rules:
Titan may leave the game under the condition that 3 or more builders have left the game or became observers as a builder in the first 10 minutes. He can also leave early if there is no basers left (Builders that have already died to the titan are not counted).

If everyone goes obs, fuck them and leave.

People have more than enough time to leave in lobby instead of going obs in the game. Leaving to prevent minions or prevent feed is game ruining in itself. The game is not designed so as people can leave to stop themselves dying. People only do it in an attempt to circumvent feed or minions. I see no reason why this isn't game ruining....

@Haunt Tbh that rule is fine but simply stating "If people leave and ruin the game it's okay because the Titan can then leave and ruin the game more" is kinda a bad way to deal with it.....

Don't get me wrong, I hate it too when builders leave.

But let me ask you this. What if we started banning builder leavers and those going intentionally obs? You have any idea how many would get banned? How much work it would mean for moderators? It would be a real spamfest of ban requests, even more ban appeals. You wouldn't be doing much else mod work but deal with builder leavers.

Banning isn't the answer for everything, and it certainly is not the answer here. Banning them would do more harm than good.

Not much work, I never see much ID BRQs floating around anyway. Don't forget it has to be obviously intentional for a ban.

These abuses which severely impacts the game should not be allowed, and should receive a short ban duration.

I didn't think people intentionally went obs to screw titan I thought it was afk. But either way its bad. Like a script that auto checks replays for player type before 30s and bans if obs? Or sends them a warning message in their inbox that is auto played next join.

Oh wow I didn't know that page existed thats amazing.
It's not easy for me to find and obs player, it doesn't say in game chat because the notification is game text. So I have to find in the replay somehow.
