HEy guys, many people do not know how to play as Mag, and i am going to share some easy tips when playing as mag.

Step 1: Lumber base in seed (preferably near mid) This is because once you seed and build a Research Center, the first research you want to buy is for WindWalking. Then HP upgrades.

Step 2: Once you have bought the WindWalk... You are pretty OP early game. Go to the middle and gold for a bit. If the titan comes mid and targets you, using WW helps.

Step 3: Once 65 Gold is obtained (Try to get more gold while staying alive), you are capable of supporting a base. Mag walls can be upgraded at your Research Center.

Step 4: POLAR WRATH!!! In my opinion, Polar Wrath is the most helpful ability the MAG has. It increases your HP to exceed 2k and you can still re-wall. The only down side to PR is that you cannot gold. It is simply an AVATAR for the builder.

Hope this helps.

Uhhh REVAMP IT :) Not.
1) If you build near mound chances are you are going to feed 2 gold + lots of exp. I rather build far and get an advantage later in the game with wood..
2) Get Ww (windwalk) and no you are not op early game cause you have NO gold whatsoever LOL and if you see titan, better run if he attacks you and you have like 30% health left use (windwalk) cause chances are his nuke is around 125 - 150.
3) get as much gold as possible if early minion, try and help other builders kill it OR help then build a base. Mag are known for there walling techniques HAHHA
4) If you have enough gold(preferably 80) i suggest you build a advance research center, this allows you to have more abilities and help protect the builders around you..
5) yes ofc these abilities also cost you both LUMBER AND GOLD..
6) the main reason why i said get 80 gold is that you will be able to get POLAR WRATH and auraS
7) i have no idea,
8) timmy is fat
9)just a fill up
10) horray

Without offending anyone, the biggest pub lie among players is probably: mag is op because of his early ww - no, guys - NO.
Ever heard of punish and pearl..?

Mag is easily one of the EASIEST builders to kill at mound in the first few minutes.

To be fair, Mag DOES have no ww transition time. But yes, the reason why I don't like him is that titans have since learned how to pearl, even on non-ww builders (satyr).

One more thing, if there is already a base, you can build ARC at 25G. The Snowman is OP. Always get the abominable snowman first for ganking minions with warcry. The duration is longer than the cooldown, giving you a long time with two snowmen up. It is also great for denying feed and wasting the titan's time. Please note that it does feed a lot (8 gold) so be careful not to feed it.

The other reason is because it is a needed upgrade for Polar Wrath with Inner Cold, so get Abominable -> Inner cold -> Polar Wrath. Don't get Warcry if you are low on lumber and high on gold. After your upgrades, you can basically 1v1 any low level titan with two snowmen on your side. Be sure to wall /trap them first though, as most titans aren't retarded.

Also, I see a lot of Mags blocking when people rush for corners from mid. A mag should always be the last to reach the safe point at mid, he is EXTREMELY tanky, can go through ward blocks with his instant WW, so please don't let others die for nothing. Just always choose the furthest entrance into the safe point (we really should make up a new name for these places, let's just call them safe points).

This is implying if mags aren't careful. Most people get too confident when golding as mag early game.

You can play as careful as you want. Pearl + punish and you are dead - except you camp behind walls.

Define ''camp'' behind walls. I didn't know staying careful to avoid giving a titan a minion and 10g was classified as ''camping behind walls.''

You said a mag wouldn't die if he plays 'careful' enough. So I defined the 'careful' to the extend you've to be to actually not being killed.
