I've always seen good trolls base with someone else. Troll will tower up the first two layers then let a higher range builder tower more behind.

I've always found it difficult to get enough lumber to outrace the titan, then solo base with troll. And troll bases don't seem good late game.

Especially basing right above mound at the sky base, it seems like there just isn't enough dps with him, and thats one of the most effective troll bases to troll titan with and my favourite base.

I wish he had a lumber boost or something so that it would be easier to solo with him because I like the idea of a smaller troll base, and make it possible to be solo with troll or maybe a waller too, but not require a second builder to tower.

Basically I either want troll to be more effective or I want a good builder to base at sky base with.

tl;dr: "Can troll solo base?" No.

For troll to do late game he has to have atleast 40k wood.... !!! cause you know titan will be lvl 9+ and all these op items and stuff !!!!!!

Troll can solo base BUT, OH yes theres a BUT haha BUT BUT can you handle him?

Maybe when he gets 5 stun towers for perma-stun.

When I look at troll I see a mix of things. Some of the most memorable games I've played in, in the later parts, were spent hiding in troll bases. It is one of my favorite builders, mainly because tower-wise it is a minimalist, it has a very fun stunning ultimate tower, and because of the wonderful thwap sound the bolts make when they hit the titan.

However, Troll is not all it used to be. Or rather, it is exactly what it used to be, while it seems that some builders make it completely obsolete *cough* Dryad *cough*

I find that Troll can be a viable solo towerer, but rarely can they also be their own support.

When it comes down to it, I usually end up basing with 16k wood, about halfway through the 30 minute marker. If the titan is good and I'm feeling pressure, I tend to g2l even before I have merchant gold, which may be a poor choice but it assures that I will get enough wood for all supers by the time he gets to sieging.

I'd say he's a mid-late game builder, and yes he can solo base but it is often unwise.

Sky base is the one of the worst bases ever, possibly the worst. There is a high risk for nuke bounce that either you, your workers, or your supporter would suffer from. Any decent titan can destroy that base with 2 minis and a pearl/floaty eye. It was pointed out earlier that troll is best used to db with. Just db with a builder who has higher range, and you obviously need to tower the front.
TL;DR:
1)Sky base sucks
2)Narbtit sucks
3)Just db for easy win

nevermind i just realized trolls megas only do 80 dmg, thought htye did 100

drayds do 85
