As a builder it is important to stay in the game until it is over. The titan depends on feed from every builder for it to be a fair game. Things like extra gold from walls, fruits and even minis are all reduced when builders decide to randomly leave.

I'm talking about people who join then don't pick soon enough and are observers. People who leave because they randomed a builder they don't like(just saw that recently he left because he got demo). People that randomly leave right at the start(not sure why but I've seen it). These all hurt the titan and game. "Oh pizza's here bye" no, you joined as a builder you play until you die or the game is over.

Maybe there can be a 10 minute rule just like the titan has but there is too much builder leaving right now. I know when it's been past 10 minutes, I check the allies, and if I see all noob basers and I'm a supporter I just leave. Like I can predict when it's going to be a loss anyways and I just leave sometimes.

I Agree! it's not that fun when the Titan get an early minion and 3 people leave because of it, or when the titan find early feed and people rage quit.

This is why titan can leave if there are 3 builder leavers/observers. You can petition for 2 builder leaver/observers if you want, but I feel 3 is fine.

Also, why do you want to ban observers? I obs often, because i just want to watch other ppl...

They also say not to choose non-standard modes. Should I ban everybody who votes ar/br/ froff/exp/gcl and didn't say they were going to (in lobby with all players there)?


There's a time and place for rules and not all applied to every game (especially leavers). Probably at least half the ent host bots won't ban you if you leave early.

Actually you vote on modes in ID so that's pretty irrelevant..... But I quite agree and have spoken with people who play regularly on ID and everyone is in the same boat. Builders that leave before 10 minutes should be banned. It ruins the game - removes a minion - removes feed - it only affects the game in a negative way so why should it not be punishable. If you choose to join a game of ID you can atleast stick around for 10 minutes or just don't bother joining at all.

On top of that it should also be bannable to leave because your going to die. The countless amount of people who do it 24/7 is a joke. Oh look I'm gonna die I'll just run in this seed and leave the game so he don't get a minion. How bullshit is that. Every time this happens I suicide the guy into the titan.... Feel free to check my replays and ban me for it but that is literally the most balanced thing to do.

The idea that titans can be banned for leaving but builders can't is a joke.....

I don't see the problem with modes, 90% of all games are -ap but you can still go random without -ar. and -br should just be removed, never seen it being used. about the froff/exp/gc you have the voting system, and I never seen someone leave when you have voted for them.
But ect when someone use the random button and leave when they didn't get the builders they wanted. thats kinda unfair for all the other players.

If you want to be an observer there is one separate observer slot that you can use at the beginning of the game. Even actively being an observer instead of picking a builder removes titan feed and unbalances the game.

I agree with the 10 minute rule for builders as well. You leave before 10 minutes, you disconned while loading, you actively don't pick a builder, you are banned. Maybe you should randomly be given a builder, with a random position on the map, if you don't pick.

Even play a starting sound at the beginning of the game so people know its started. Some people afk because it takes up to 10-20 minutes to get a game going.

I swear a few years ago on BGN, leaving before 3 minutes as a builder was bannable. 10 minutes is a little extreme, but I do believe staying for 3 minutes as a builder should be mandatory, it atleast gives titan time to feed off of their lumber base before they rage quit because they randomed ogre.

tl;dr; there wont be a manual adjustment or enforcement of ban penalties for leaving. The system will handle that.
