@uakf.b why did we all lose so much elo?

I know that prince-poison is low elo with 700 elo, but it doesn't explain how we lost so much elo since I was the only person with more than 1.2k elo.

This is new, I've never lost so much elo before like this. I think it only happens with sub-1000 elo titans.

Titan elo gain is always a fraction of builder gain/loss.

@Burn please do detective work before blaming uakf.b. https://entgaming.net/findstats.php?id=5977249 has no winners and losers because nobody was flagged as winning or losing.
Back to the first URL.
Since elo formula isn't well known can't do _much_ math. But AVG elo of builders (taken from current elo totals) is 1114.4 and Prince's current is 751.76.
Using an online calculator and leaving K=32
I find that the change of Elo for a loss is -28 which is roughly what it was.
Also I believe based upon the wikipedia article, for every 1 win Prince gets, you are supposed to get 8 (See Eb and Et).
This means that after 9 games (and ignoring any changes to elo from those games) you guys (minus burn) would have 8 wins and 1 loss. And have gained 32 elo from those wins (see online calculator) and lost 28 from one loss (net : +4) while Prince would have 1 win and 8 losses and gained 28 elo from those 8 wins (although uakf doesn't use same result as online calculator) and lost 32 elo from those 8 losses (net : -4).
I don't see any problems really, 4 elo isn't that big of a discrepancy for zero-sum compared to people resetting elo or somebody flagging all observers as losers.

Qb = 10^(1114.4/400) = 610.942024906
Qt = 10^(751.76/400) = 75.7530284988
Eb = Qb / ( Qb + Qt ) = 0.88968461601 ~= 88%
Et = Qt / ( Qb + Qt ) = 0.11031538398~= 11%

I thought the ID ELO was meaningless at the moment (until it's reset when it comes out of beta)?.
Edit: also we try to keep average 1000 ELO for ID. Which means that whatever the ELO change computation comes out as, the titan actually gains/loses that amount divided by the number of islanders or whatever they're called. ELO doesn't make too much sense for multiplayer games, and it makes a lot less sense when the teams are not even.

It was brought to my attention by a pub ID player with this whole elo concern. Despite me personally not concerning for it, logic would assume that due to ID's teams (10 builders vs 1 titan), 1 win for the titan compared to 1 win for each builder (if they all live) would put out more gains of elo for the titan due to the pure numbers; however, winning as titan is quite hard, especially in-house matches . . . .

Would it be possible to put the elo calculations on github? Maybe this way Neco or someone else will be able to fix it properly using the current elo system as a basis.
A lot of people cared and still care about elo, basically everyone on the front page (https://entgaming.net/customstats/islanddefense/top/) does.
