Desync issues

Postby Vonlin » Sun Oct 02, 2016 12:09 am

I've recently come back to playing Warcraft 3 Customs games and island defense, but every time I get into a game, about 1 or 2 minutes into it there is a Dsync message and I see im in another state of the game and get disconnected. Any known fixes for this?

Do you play via gproxy, entconnect, or actual wc3 servers?

I've been playing on the actual wc3 servers, someone in chat mentioned entconnect which I've been playing around with now, but when I go into the LAN menu and try to double click on a game I get the "Unable to join specified game" message.

I am also getting a "bad image" error message when I launch warcraft now after installing the download in my warcraft 3 folder.

The bad image error message I think is from the AMH, I installed the lgver.mix file in my main warcraft III folder, is that not correct?

I got that message to go away and am able to join games, I don't desync from other ENT games, but still do with Island Defense sadly.

As others have said, try taking out any mods or hacks from your WC3 folder. A lot of them don't work with 1.27 and cause issues such as desync.

I don't have any mods or hacks installed, ENT connect is the first third party tool I've ever tried using before with warcraft.

Actually there has been an increase in desync issues whereas the players are in "different game states". From now on, any games I see this happen I will take a ss and gather a few to post here.
