What does it mean by dodged?

What does it mean by dodged?

Sometimes on ban request page I see things that says ban dodge. I thought ENT bans people by IP address not by account. So how are these people dodging bans? Is there any point in posting ban request where people can just dodge bans?

You can find the definition of dodging on the ENT rules wiki.

ENT bans by both name and IP. Not every player is capable (skill- and technical-wise) of dodging. So yes, there's obviously a point in reporting them.

ty I just don't understand why ppl play and get banned and get hated by others but are still willing to go through all the trouble (like changing IPs ) to play this game

Ever heard of the saying "that's why we can't have nice things"? It's one of those cases..
