Suggestions to fix lag
Suggestions to fix lag
Hey guys recently I’ve been suffering massive spikes and lags in the game. I would say in the past few weeks just random games and times. I have good internet and plugged in not on WiFi. No other browsers open etc. I don’t lag in any other game I play so not sure what to even do when it’s happening in game! Thanks would appreciate some thoughts!

Re: Suggestions to fix lag
If you have accounted for everything, including your ISP just being bad, then it's based on your location.
The server here is based on the East Coast. If you are on the East Coast you will have good ping. If you are on the West Coast, Europe, or especially Asia, you will have not so great ping. How bad it is depends on how far you are from the eastern US.
Another remote, yet real, possibility is your monitor not refreshing good for wc3. I had a similar problem where it lagged nonstop, but it wasn't actual connection lag. It was my monitor merely not interacting well with the game and lagging it. I solved that by changing the refresh rate in my windows settings.
