Is there any plan to make the ENT bot host games on the PTR?

What would ENT gain from doing that?

@Cokemonkey11Dont think there is need for ENT to try to get into PTR really. they and most of the other bots will just wait for 1.29 to come with BNet update.
If you want hosting bots on PTR (Im not sure if it's even posible) you can try setup your own for now I think most just play normal Ladder & join whatever someone that host manualy feel like hosting
PTR DL & Install Link: https://us.battle.net/forums/en/bnet/topic/20762056755 (Requires CD-keys. RoC & tFT)

It's a staging environment for lots of fundamental changes to the game.
It's an opportunity to make your bot work with wc3 1.29 before it's release, not after.

In the end, the bot is like a client. If the client update does not work for users, it wont work for bots. If the update works, bots will work, too, unless server-side switches are turned on (e.g. IP, cd-key restrictions).

Yes, but the PTR is a staging environment. With high likelihood the existing bot won't work out-of-the-box.
So by making it work with PTR, you're more likely to have a working bot on the same day 1.29 is on the stable realms.
