Dungeonseeker is banned long time now for maphack and dodging if I recall correctly.

This list is absolutely rubbish and can be considered borderline harassment.

As has been discussed several times before, saying you won't merc and then doing it can be considered a strategy as well as mid building etc. It gives you an advantage, and wether you consider it fair or not, that's not against the rules. Trying to get other players to dodge games with certain players because they've merced when they said they wouldn't, that's idiotic.

I hope the mods close and remove this thread permanently soon.

He can make a list if he wants. Interpret it how you want to.

The thing you have to realize is that when you see a known LIHL player or even an LIHL team on ENT18 they do not play by LIHL rules and do not have to. People can say whatever they want in game or in lobby. If you wanna stop this, either dodge a game when you see an LIHL team stack or make it clear that it is a non-merc game either by choosing a mode where merc is not accessible or by calling a vote to not merc, which you will need all 7 players along with yourself to agree to.

About the OP's list, I think it's a good idea to have a list of common merc players, so that the ones who like non-merc games have a better chance to know which games they have to dodge. Also, if a person lies about going merc, he maybe feels more punished because as many players probably wouldn't want to play with him. (;

I really don't see how on one hand you can say it can be regarded as a strategy and that they don't have to play by LIHL rules. Also that it is not punishable nor should be, and on the other hand encourage players to "punish" other "known merc users" by making a list that enables users to dodge them.

For OT:
I see alot of players mercing in games, and personally, yes it bothers me when I have a team with blasters, elites and merc against me, as it's virtually impossible to win. However... It's 1 game. In the long run, the elo lost or won won't even matter in the slightest.

This is a "I'm a bad loser" list and nothing more. It happened to you 10+ times? Big whoop. Why are you letting 10 games control the gaming environment that you create for yourself.
Should we also make a list for known whiners? Known stackers? Known leavers? dodgers? Shitty players above 1300 ELO?

I don't see anything wrong with a list like this, people can obviously tell when people are leavers or stackers since it tells you people's elo. Finding out who will lie when there is a no merc agreement, seems very helpful. If they are willing to lie about not going merc I doubt they even care when we put their name on a list like this. They won't get harassed from a list like this, they might get harassed by somebody experiencing it first hand and seeing them again in a game.

This list will at least help people not agree to a "no merc agreement" when they play with people on this list.

To clarify, no it is not punishable, but in ENT18 we have the all no merc vote to be able to kick the a player, if he decides to merc and there is no repercussion for possible votekick abuse. And the biggest thing is a "list of merc players" is garbage. It is a pub bot, improve your skills, try harder, apply for a vouch in LIHL. If you do not like merc, ask red every game what mode it is and if it is cb.... leave. (if he lies look at game rules) Then join next game where you get to be red and pick mode. We do not change the rules of bots, nor change the ideas of the community for a few individuals. If players play by what the mode allows, there is nothing wrong with their playing style. Whoever is first in game and stays red, gets to chose the mode, if you do not like, then I suggest you find another game.

@IAmLegion; Just to clarify, it wasn't meant as "I" am saying it, but as that's how I've come to know the rules on the forums - a previous topic made by Cyberpunk, where he states following:

As by "punishment" I should have been more specific, I actually meant punished with a ban. I know this list can be considered a punishment, but as BA_fail stated they most likely don't care. After all it also have this effect:

Interesting question: tho "Should we" is a matter of peer, if there is people who actually need/require such lists and have a big enough problem with it to dedicate enough time to make it - who should stop them in doing so?

The list can be informative to know of someone will Merc before game start. The only one butt hurt is iamlegion...as much as having a merc on the other team sucks, we've all done it. Might as well add me to the list. I don't lie about it though. Only out of necessity i choose to go merc

If being argumentative and on point is being butthurt in your eyes, then I seriously question your brain capacity and your lack of reasoning. Great behaviour, by a mod though, yet again.

No one will bother checking this list before every game, I bet however that if someone remembers to check it in game, that will encourage a flood of harassment towards players.

As you can see, I was playing a game with two of my fellow friends HuaNak (Lisk's smurf) and Cossavutto (Jack77pd's smurf) where Iamlegion happened to be on our team. Me and Lisk were having a conversation which iamLegion abruptly kept interfering with:

We told him twice to literally shut up, but he kept on going. And about the other bullshit he said about me, I was explaining Jack77pd (Who was talking to me on Skype) about Lihl and strategies. So I was just answering his questions, which had NOTHING to do with Iamlegion. Anyways, just read the chat from the game, says enough.
