Hey guys, some player, probably my fan made same nickname like mine. My nickname is unique and I believe that there could be some reason for that player to abuse my nickname in order to get me banned or something, so is there something what can be done about that player?

So it is harder now for me to follow my activities in stats page and player could use vengeance nick instead which is correct word on English. My nick is very unique and without meaning so is there something what could be done about this? That player is from USA and I came from Serbia.

This person seems like very unmannered and probably will break rules. From his games I saw at least 10 times that he mentioned word BAN.

ENT will not ban you if he violates a rule. We can distinguish you.

However, it is your fault for not creating the account on all realms and ENT will not anything about it.

I'm not using other realms so how can it be my fault, neither yours. Is it possible to somehow separate our stats or to set ban on creating new accounts with same nick through other realms?

I had the foresight to create beerlord on us east europe and asia, since a) it is such a cool name, and b) I've become a bit of a target since joining the popo. However, noob that I am, I did not create beerlord on entconnect or eurobattle. So some asshole that i banned for maphack did, and joined a game and maphacked away. Quite a temporary shitstorm that created until people realized it wasnt me. Point is, nothing really to do about this efco. Assholes will be assholes.

There is unlimited number of nicknames and combinations of letters, numbers and symbols which can be used. It should be 1 player, 1 nickname. Ok if player is using different realms for his nickname, but this is really low and affect on other players. So I don't really see a reason to not protect main player on account which he owns.

However, it is your fault for not creating the account on all realms and ENT will not anything about it.

Of course, everything is fault of user, always, but thing which most surprise me is to see this from one of the community leaders.

As much I'm spending my time here, I have more feeling that game ruiners are more protected and respected than regular players because:
If there is game ruiner in team, for example mass feeder and if votekick is not successful, then players in his team must to play till the end because:
- regular player must not leave the game > he can maybe 1-2 times, but next time administration will deny request because leaving is not allowed, it doesn't important here why player is leaving games, it is important to show player that leaving means no play for next period of time
- regular player must not go afk in that situation, because it is against the rules to not follow the rules and players from that team must to play [must to lose their time, not important 30-40 minutes], I mean feed till end when opponents decided to finally finish their game.

Well, some game ruiners can abuse this sentence because it looks like you are approving game ruin by new players, so my suggestion is to change that to "Being noob is not bannable" or "We do not ban players for being noob" or something similar. This is friendly advice, I had a lot experience with similar problems.

No no I meant that. It's a part of our votekick rules. If new players refuse to take advice or refuse to learn, they can ruin the game in some cases and can be votekicked

Not easy to understand point of this, but meaning of this is still approving game ruining by staff member and this surprised me more than anything else on any forum where I was user.

And last thing, for fuck sake please update your rules. Only members who knows the rules on this server are Moderators and higher. Rules are same for dota or lod and for burbenog. I'm very sure that 80% players have no idea what does this sentence means "Do not purposely glitch or exploit the game." or even what do you want from them when asking this in their unban request "Please head to our wiki (http://wiki.entgaming.net/) and find the rule you broke." Rule about how cleaning mines is forbidden with courier doesn't exist, except in few non-sticky topics and of course players are surprised and confused because they are banned for that which is not their fault, but fault of ENT for not updating their rules for ages. For you "glitch" is strong word, for users, they have no idea what does it means. I needed few days to realize what exactly is under this rule.

I know there is 90% chance that you will say "who cares for your opinion" or "you don't like something, go play somewhere else" or "your problem", but I hope that 10% chance will be for someone to reconsidered some things again and to see the way how to approach to problems.

It merely reflects the possibility of game ruining since new players - in most cases - dont know what to do, resulting in more feed or other undesired scenarios. The glitch rule is a general one for obvious reasons: We dont know which glitches might occur in the future nor can we maintain a list of all glitches for any map ENT hosts. If you dont know what a glitch is, you can simply ask the staff - same for all others. ENT rules are mostly general because they are based on common sense and logic.

I won't do attack on reputation of moderator, that was our messages and will stay between me and that person. Anyway it is like I expected and we think same about that.

Logic says that it is not possible to make list of all glitches, but there can be some list in the rules. For example, you can open 2 topics, 1st for Dota, 2nd for Lod and ask forum members to sum glitches in that topic and from there after discussion some glitches will be listed and explained as specific rules for game, general rules are problematic and may confuse players. So I would like to suggest to list known glitches.

Yes, this is only way to get attention from players which can lead them to right way and I support it, but my point is to protect players in case where is no 3rd option. With feeder in team when votekick won't happen, other innocent players mostly will be victims and will feed opponents stats and that must not be acceptable, if regular player decide to leave that game he should be unbanned on request.

To protect me against what? Against players who chase me through games and attack me each time when they see me and when they have chance. You are that aaa guy who put his finger on teammates and attack them each time when join games, aren't you? I'm sick of retards who will point their finger on another player before game even start, and for me they can suck you know what. - that is for 1st game, 1st link.
For 2nd game it was impossible to play vs silencer and they had op skills, anyway I did best of me to be useful in game, but I had bad skill draft to do something better in that game.
For 3rd link, I've got most of assistance in team, and because of that, my teammates had chance to grow faster and as you can see our team raped opponents that game. I won't check which hero I had in that game, but I know that I had charge and maybe that bird hero.
So if you have something against me, go and report me, instead of showing what?
