i don't have any groups or friends online to play with. The friends that i have outside of dota either do not play or are dirt I would like to find some people to play with i am willing to try out. the few people i meet rarely play on connect so its hard to get a game together.

I'm confused, to play better, you just play with better people. Naturally, you'll find strategies that work and those that dont. Playing with a friend just makes pubs too easy.
