Different server

We move apem bot to a different server (montreal -> ny). Is it better? worse?

Much worse ping, went from 27 stable to 98-120.

I have noticed quite a few more people lag on APEM games since this change.
Those type of lags lead to disconnects eventually.

I'm noticing weird lag spikes, but could be just a coincence.

Better for me - ping is a lot better, and haven't gotten any lag at all lately since the change

Now that I play more I notice it is more laggy for me. It will be smooth, but then a 5 second period of slideshow will happen once or twice in games.

@CountChocula96 @Zeratul actually I changed it back on 24th but forgot to post. So as of 24th it is running on same server that it was running on before the 22nd.

This is because there were a couple complaints and so it seemed better for some but worse for others. I was hoping it would be better for almost everyone since it seemed this server provider had better peering, but I guess that was not the case.

mhm - altho i only replied on the 25th, i had played inbetween, and the ping was better since the initial change; You mention that you reverted it, but to be honest, my ping still remains good, and havent felt any lag or spikes at all (even with using wc3connect now - ping is better, and seems exactly the same as it was, both from the bot and ingame /ping), so whatever you did, it worked for me either way, thanks :p

@Zeratul lol... my bad... I was going to revert it but it looks like I didn't. maybe there were lots of players in the lobby so I didn't want to restart host bot. Unfortunately I did revert it now. But I will look for a better solution.

Edit: I think NY might've been better for European players but worse for many U.S. players. There should be some NY hosting provider that is good for both.

Ah okay, well that explains why i kept feeling my ping was better ^^ Np tho - i can still play it (even if from times to times,i experience a small delay), but it's all a matter of adjustment - Just think and plan ahead

thanks for the info, and for the impressive hard work you've been putting on ENT these last days/weeks (well you, and i'm sure others as well, but you get the point :p)
