Note 1:

The following was the entirety of what he said to be banned:

This flaming is clearly not excessive by any definition of the rules. If anyone else had made a ban request with this content, it would be denied by any mod who has ever moderated ENT. This ban was personal because he doesn't like GobIln, because he beats him often.

In fact, I can bring up examples of him doing the exact same thing - accusing others of cheating during a game. This one was after he's a moderator:

In fact, I would challenge anyone to find a single other case of someone being banned for accusing another person of cheating. Back in the day xSAINTx got accused every single game and no one cared.

He got banned for this, even though it's clearly not excessive. Now his justification is interesting:

"flaming is not allowed especially an admin."

Now theoretically, the same rules apply to all players. However he was only banned because he flamed an admin. Again, if anyone else had made this ban request, it would have been denied.

In this post, 2 players go AFK for 9 minutes and reset the AFK timer during that time so we can't -kickafk them.

This clearly violates rule 2 and is called out specifically in the text of the rule --

"Do not go away from keyboard for an excessive amount of time, especially without telling other players beforehand, and/or refuse to play the game in an attempt to ruin it. Neither are you allowed to grief by resetting the afk timer."

The players ruined the entire game by doing this. However he didn't ban them, because no_rules is his friend (and obviously if he banned pay for it, he would need to ban the other).

He bans someone for leaving (even though autoban already does this), but also kicks him from the next game he had started, and not violated any rules in. By doing so, he ruined the other game, which we can assume those people wanted to play as is, not have to rejoin and switch teams and heroes.

By kicking this player, he did NOT force a draw to be made. The players did decide to draw to be fair, however it would have been within their rights to play the game out as a 4v5 and have a much easier time winning. He obviously had no idea whether or not they would draw the game or not, so this kick was iambackk deliberately giving a significant advantage to Sentinel because of one player's behavior in the previous game. This is a completely unacceptable use of kick.

A few things to highlight - he claims that he is allowed to reveal people's identity using the alias tool in public chat. In the past, this has been strictly against the rules for any moderator to do. In fact, we were told that we weren't allowed to use the alias tool for ANY personal reason, and only allowed to use it for moderation purposes.

Everyone here knows that kun isn't a ruiner at all. He's one of the best players on the server and one of the few people who (like Frank who was also accused of cheating earlier) is one of the few people who regularly beats iambackk. There's a pattern here if you care to look into it. He clearly is using his moderator power against those who are able to beat him.

His gameplay behavior and flames have been toned down as well ever since he became a mod so that goes to show you he's also improving himself.

Also, his mh timestamps, I've been called out before but he said it's to check replays. No one has gotten banned for MH accusations so no abuse there.

I do feel like he's getting hate due to his past history / drama on here.

He's been banning habitual ruiners/ban dodgers and has been lenient with ban duration too.

His gameplay behavior and flames have been toned down as well ever since he became a mod so that goes to show you he's also improving himself.

Also, his mh timestamps, I've been called out before but he said it's to check replays. No one has gotten banned for MH accusations so no abuse there.

I agree. The admins are basically too lazy to do anything and likely did not help ifck with much to moderate games. I can bet ifck has probably tried messaging them a few times and received zero responses. His only support is Halo who honestly should have been the one to make the bans after reviewing ifck's ban requests so ifck knows what or what isn't proper. I'm not even sure why Halo doesn't even review the ban requests himself. Seems like he's an active player here but doesn't ever bother to review any of them which makes ifck the default option. Seems like the mods who are active players currently outside of ifck/matty just ban players when they are personally involved in the game and couldn't give two shits about the ban requests.

The flaming/names were pretty much made before he was a moderator so if the admin allowed him to mod despite that language, then it shouldn't be an issue now.

No one else would be willing to do any of this so I think instead of trying to remove him, we should help him correct his mistakes. The refusal to ban no_rules is suspect. Never heard of a scenario where both players wait out 5+ minutes to not pick a hero so they could choose a counter and not get banned. Also, accusing someone of maphack, regardless of them being a mod or admin isn't bannable.

Also, the fact SonGoku is still allowed to play is hilarious. I'm not sure what the deal is here (maybe ya'll are friends or cool with each other?) but the guy is a notorious maphacker and admitted to dodging openly in games but is still allowed to play. If you're going to start banning players for accusing you of maphack, how is an ACTUAL maphacker still allowed to play?

Now that Halo reviewed and told him the ban was wrong but guess what - all he does is conveniently ignoring Halo’s comment, and effectively banning me for the entire period. I still can’t play.

Firstly, the odds Halo reviewed that replay is very unlikely.

Halo should just unban you given your lack of ban history. The standards here are just weird.

Pay should have been banned for afking but by doing so, he'd have to ban no_rules so neither were banned. You afk'd for a few minutes despite being the best on your team and you got banned. That does not add up.

20 hours after Halo told him the ban was wrongful, ifck unbanned me now with only a few hours left to the original ban duration.

He banned me for 2 days at 9pm Saturday and unbanned at 4pm Monday. I can’t play in these hours anyways so the ban is effectively the entire duration.

And he said this after the unban

I would unban instantly if he did not came here with arrogance.

The fact that he unbanned suggests he admitted he made a mistake. But by conveniently delaying the response to Halo’s comment, he did not do anything to make up for it. Why do I have to be the one suffering for his power abuse?

Here is the message I get from this entire experience - “bend over or you will regret.” It’s convenient to be a mod I guess

I did watch the game he did get the ban right he just got the duration wrong because he didn't take into account that you have a prefect history. He is still learning so be patient. I will process more dota brq's if you guys like, feel free to tag me, but sometimes I work out of town (no pc) so can't solve right away. He processes everything right away normally, nothing when I look. I have helped him and will continue to help him. We have talked almost every day since he became mod but there is a huge delay in our conversations because he is 8 hours ahead of me. He's doing a good job for the amount time he has been doing this.

Kunkka was banned for a few days despite being the best player in a game that they would have lost due to spec on the other team being too strong and he went to the washroom for a couple of minutes.

Two players blatantly refused to pick a hero for 12 minutes (they were not afk) and they were not banned.

Can you explain to me what you have been teaching him exactly?

1. You can ban someone for calling you a maphacker but you are allowed to accuse one of ENT's best DotA players ever in Frank of using a meepo script.
2. You cannot ban someone for afking 12 minutes deliberately but you can ban someone for being the best player on the team in a losing effort for afking a couple of minutes.
3. You can ban someone for using !ignore but you are allowed to play under the names of: ifckursister, ifckurcousin, tradwhore, ifckisrael, etc.,
