Dota for noobs.

Postby remyx » Sat Oct 19, 2013 8:23 pm

Hey, so i am a beginner player, whiile ive gone for 1/12 k/d to 6/6, this still isnt enough to play with pro's. So what i would like is one of the bots to host games for people with lower thn 120 ELO, this would help players like me to get better so they can play with the good players comfertable AND this would let new players who dont play because of the pro's chewing them out, kicking them etc. So i think this would be a benefit for the whole game in itself and people will appreciate what ENT does and join the clan or play more of their games

or score, whatever xD but a lower k/d or w/l. just saying, playing with pros help you learn, but when everybody is just a dick, itll just turn you away from it, which happened to me a couple years ago. sure i understand that you want to play a nice game without feeders n stuff, but there are always beginners. But beginners will prefer to play against players of their caliber rather than people who play for 5 years.

not every beginner wants that or even knows its possible. besides it is boring. i play solo sometimes, but with others is more fun and you can see their tricks n stuff

Just play the AI maps to learn a bit 2-3 hero. After that play online. Being noob is not a big-deal. Create an account called the noob. Try to learn, ask question. After few games you'll get used to some hero and then you'll enjoy more the game.

I agree with that.
play heroes and know what are their skills at least before you play actual game.
