Hardest carry to play in general?
Re: Hardest carry to play in general?
Personally, I think SF is a very hard carry to play as he relies on snowballing with souls and completing his items fast, before other carries like Void or AM finish their items. The lack of escape doesn't help and against good players, you'll just get focused down in every fight before you can do damage.

banana and aaron posting my second time wisp QQ
back on topic: almost all hard carries are pretty "easy" to play. The hardest part about playing carries is the entry timing. Carries aren't about who right clicks the most, or who has the most items. All too often I see a carry have 6 items, run in and just die because they're horribly out of position. What separates a decent carry player from a good carry player isn't only how fast they farm but also how effectively the carry player fights with the team and the overall impact that the carry has on winning whether it is pressuring lanes or picking off enemy supports. If I had to talk about tough hard carries to play, almost all melee non-rad/image heroes are hard to play. They get kited by ghost scepts and forcestaffs all day.

Re: Hardest carry to play in general?
One factor is enemy lineup, allies, etc. Another factor is the level of competition.
Try playing Medusa in a public AP game, and you'll have 4 other carries on your team. No wards, no support, competing for last hits, etc. Given the same situation, but you're playing huskar, you're going to have one hell of a different experience, because its relatively easy to carry with husk (in T1 AP pubs).
Now switch imagine these two heroes in a competitive game. You likely won't see a huskar; he's really not that good and is quite vernurable. Put medusa in a competitive game, and you'll have a much better time because you have supports, wards, etc.

Meepo is where its at. I've yet to lose as mid solo meepo, not that that's saying much against the current level of skill on dota 1, more specifically ENT dota 1, but meepo is the most effective and efficient carry in the game.

Please pick shaker. It doesn't phase me at all. I've passed the point where aoe heroes are actually able to do something against me.

Re: Hardest carry to play in general?
Ditto. To be perfectly honest, you play on ENT and there's a significantly high potential that you play easy mode. Taking both the fact that ENT isn't the best pool of dota1 skill, as well as dota1 not having the most skilled players in the first place, I frankly doubt that you are any threat as a player. The only reason I play dota1 on ENT is to be able to play an 18 - 22 minute non-em game with a guaranteed chance of winning.
