Absolutely loving the new DotA map.

I created an account just to vote to move back to the old version. The game play is slow, the new graphics cause my computer to lag, the games fill up much slower. Usually with the updates, they only change a few things. With this update though, they changed so much its pretty much a completely new game. Between changing recipes and nerfing and boosting heros abilities, I have to relearn a lot of the game. I play for just a quick game after work or something, there are too many noobs in here to play non em games and have them be enjoyable.

Well everything he said is 100% true. and he probably just created an account to post it but the other topic was closed, the new map is horrible and boring. it takes way to long, to many people dont like it. everyone likes the old map, its more fun and has both EM and regular options

Not to mention the bots still have the game names "apem" and "arem" for non-em modes. I think we can all agree that if they're not going to use that game mode (or can't) that they should change the names for clarification.

I have yet to have a game go longer than 45 minutes (some less than 30). Plenty of -em game ran the same length or longer.
In -em there are lots of times where everyone is so built up that the game stalemates and you just wait for one battle to be overwhelmingly won to get a push where there isn't buybacks easily available. That shit drags to over an hour sometimes. THAT is boring.

Those are the last 3 games I've payed and they're all 30 minutes. On the currently listed "latest games", only one is over 35 minutes.

I don't understand why you say it's boring. It's the same game. All the things you could do in 6.83, you can do here (plus new shit! Did you know Pugna can ult allies to give hp? whhat?!). If you played a few times and adjust yourself a bit while removing the summer-fresh pinecone from your b-hole, you might even enjoy it as well.

its definitely a longer game. my old average game times were around the 30 min mark. now it's up to 40-50 min.

It was representative of my last 3 games, so yes, it was properly representative.
I didn't say games were shorter, just that they're not all that different from what it was before. Some are long, some are not. There is variance, same as there's always been.

Being indignant doesn't make you more correct. Everything I've said is perfectly reasonable and as informed as anyone else, meaning somewhat. But I gave perfect examples to show what I'm talking about, instead of just saying "get your facts straight" with no support to the contrary.

What account do you play on? Let's have a look at your games history and see how long the games are.

But, I just took 30 seconds to look at the games and only one of them was a forfeit. The other two, throne was taken. In +/- 30 minutes.

Your games didn't last long because they were stacked af. You got 11 elo on the first game, 6 on the second and 3 on the third. Are you so proud of your stacking that you boast about it? LUL

It is true that games last way longer, for example, look at this, me as naix and medusa were absolutely shitting on scourge, to the point that leshrac was crying about my rad-ancients strat and plugged himself out. The game lasted 52 mins and it was a pure stomp. On em this would be over in 25 at most. They never even got near on killing me and killed medusa only once early by accident. So, even tho new version is fun because I can troll as much as I want, I get why ppl are frustrated with the games duration. Pubs can't even farm on non em maps lmao.

Can you tell us, if you stay now with the new map? Or maybe give us the chance to choose between those two versions?
Dont know about your statistics, but everytime i check ent/games, the gameduration is about ~10mins and the game didnt start.
Doesnt that mean you lose players on ent?
