in .83d, tranquil boots work on meepo the same way as they do any other hero, if he attacks the ms goes down and they lose regen, i tested it

Tranquil Boots on Geomancer is the dumbest build ever. It's even worse than Mekanism geo.

Actually, on dota2, in the .83 patch, tranquils meepo was a normal thing in pro matches. I don't know why it seems so weird to you lol. Travel rush works only on em games.

Are we talking tranquil early into travels? Because that's different than just "tranquil meepo". Anyways even the first is no good anymore I think, since it breaks on individual meepos (I think?), but it used to be acceptable for heal. The second is never acceptable, you throw away all of meepo's potential.

The stat sharing is what ruined Meepo. It's insane and is what ruins the games. If a 1500 hp clone was jumping all over the place, that can be dealt with accordingly. But in ENT, where only EM is now prevalent, Meepos have Travel and Aggy after 20 minutes and it's over in 95% of pub games.

And truthfully, only hero I've seen successfully counter Meepo decently enough is Wyvern. Yes, Ember does a fantastic job, but I haven't seen it consistently enough. Broodmother is close on that list. The speed boosts under the webs are insane.

The problem is the player base is shrinking because of time. I would love to play non-em but 90% don't want to play it. They all want to First Pick Sniper - mid solo - or Meepo - Mid Solo and not have to actually work on last hits for CS to get items.

No offense to DracoL1ch here... BUT... That map bro, there's something off about it. It's not the non em, it's just changed dota dynamics in strange ways that I don't really agree with. I don't know how better to explain it.

Personally, I very much preferred that new map. It had a lot of improvements.
