Tbh, no1 cares for dota wc3. If we kept there, competitive DotA might have died compared to LoL, HoN and all that stuffs.

@Nutz: I doubt they can buy a house from that since most of it goes to the sponsors, plus they need to keep a certain amount of money for other stuffs. Sure it's a lot but probably not enough to stop working for months.

They aren't working. They get paid by Sponsor, Streaming, Donation of 'people', and cash price. I follow the e-sport from long time and someone is living from playing COD and easly winning his life... He's from quebec and play for NV team.. Maybe one of best COD players. So yes, you can do your life from living of video games, some do from doing video on youtube, so imagine the pro-player with all the sponsors. It's a different lifestyle, they play and perfection their shit over 8-12 hour every day... That's a job at this point

pretty sure none of the players in the 16 team that went to ti3 have a real job.. they all go to dif tourneys and leagues, they have their YouTube channel they get pay for simply playing video games and being good at that

There's an up-to-date. All the panda spirit are now allowed in dota2 with some new stuff like crafting for item and socketing.

This patch just been released. DireTide is included in it for probably a short period of time like all years. I really like the EarthSpirit Character because he's green and his Stick looks crazy!
