These three branch get converted into a wand later on. Bottle is now 650 you start with 625. Clarity Tango worth the effect of your bottle for easy 2 minutes and more. Why? You don't use the nuke of SF until it reach level 2 (hero level 3 maybe 4 if you up first necromastery). Otherwise it's 1mana:0.90dmg (resist). Not worth it.

So you don't need bottle earlie game, you get me? you have enough time to farm it out and end up your wand before having the need of your bottle. Hence the reason to get earlie game attribut / Regen / Stick (stick will heal you if your opponent cast enough). Also, heal of your bottle can be canceled if you are not using it safely. So you don't need again that god damn bottle earlie game. Bottle is usefull, a bit later in the game.

Let me clear it a bit. If your opponent get rune over you, bottle is useless. Now crow need to wait 3 min. So refilling with the courrier sucks. Therefore, wait the 3 min, up courrier, get bottle from it + ward later on. Bring it back to you with ward, place ward, win with bottle. I seriously don't see the usage of a bottle on SF at level 1 - 2 - 3... Wich is easly the first 3 minutes of the game. This is way enough time for you to farm your wand + bottle + ward if support doesn't get it.

We have both different opinion, we should maybe 1v1 SF mid? Let's see how much usefull is your bottle while I get all these last hit while you're going filling the bottle... SF is about farm and last hit, running to rune is useless even more if you fail to have it (opponent get it before you, you have no vision and guess where it is etc). I prefer to have regen that I can count on. :/

i decided To play few games with slark and it was lot of fun so I decided to make little guide.

slark.

slark is great solo hero which can outfarm many other carrys like void and huskar . Slark can be mid hero or side line hero. When u hit the lvl 6 u can start ganking and hunting enemys. But you can also outfarm slark himself , for example with gem or dust and most importantly sticking and moving in group is great if they got slark in the enemy team.

slark items.

pubs often goes treads and mask of madness which is easy and safe , but if u wanna pwn and survive u should go diffusal and manta early game also believe it or not , lothars is great item for slark. With manta u can easily dodge stuns , track , dust etc and diffent poisons . Its like euls.

remember that diffusal > orchid and manta-style > Mask of madness .
also skadi is powerful too against carrys and casters.

tips.

minimap , watch the minimap every 5 second or more because usually people don't call miss .

warding is very important especially when u are slark and with good warding u can dodge ganks , see runes and gank the enemys , good warding can lead u to victory.

do not hunt all the time . Slark needs items and slark needs farm so do not try to gank every hero u see.

I got to correct your post about slark, for the sake of this hero :) THIS IS FOR THE 6.78C VERSION, NOT THE NEW ONE.
Slark is never able to outfarm a huskar. If slark is put in a 1v1 situation with void, it would be a fairly even fight.
The best counter for slark is some early sentry wards. If the slark-player know how to play this hero, he is able to time his death pact so that it debuffs the dust.
By moving as a group, you are most likely missing out XP from other lanes. However, in pubs, this doesn't matter much.
Mask of madness is not safe at all, in fact, it is the opposite. Early MoM works only in pubs, as your enemy won't have detection. If you are detected during activation of MoM, and focused on, you are dead for sure. MoM is considered a risky item. S/y is a much safer early "core".
Manta is in general not needed for slark, as he is an assassin. He needs to move in and out of fights. Slark's death pact is there to dodge stuns and disables.
Skadi is considered to be the most cost-inefficient item in dota. (It got a somewhat of a tiny buff in 6.79). Usually you would get a early orb of venom, and leave it at that for the slow.

I'll agree that euls can be a fun item to experiement with, aswell as the warding-suggestion. Nomatter what hero you play, wards will help you win the game.

That would only be possible if huskar doesn't know how to play. Slark would be forced back every time he is about to lasthit.

Slark can outfarm huskar easy in a game because he has something Huskar lacks - mobility plus aoe with his pact. He can run fast from lane to lane and jungle midways.

It is a rather pointless argument. Huskar will have a huge advantage in the early/midgame, while slark will be able to catch up when he got items. Slark can only jungle efficiently after he got some sort of manaregen, or is buffed up with some dmg-items.
Again, if huskar knows how to play, he will get sentry. Slark's death
