can flying courier ward and deward? I just played a game where lesh on the other team was using flying courier to place sentry ward and kill my wards with the courier using quelling blade. is that possible?

Sure is! Courier just needs to be given an item that gives it a mana. You can do all kinds of fun things with them like give them radiance, dagons, guinsoo etc. Shiva is about the only item that I know does not work on couriers.

Best way to use it is to get Energy Stone on your courrier, you will be able to ward/unward everywhere.

Yup, you can use courier to ward & deward.
If you're a carry that already reached 6 slotted, you can use your courier as an additional 6 slotted courier.

Items for your late game courier should be:
1) Drum (More attack speed, more MS, and more DPS)
2) AC (More APS + Armour)
3) Vlad (Mana regen for your courier, team, and more armour + lifesteal if you are melee)
4) Hex (More disable)
5) Tranquil boot (Makes your courier moves fast and unkillable)
6) Radiance or Point Booster (Need HP)
