Is there interest in me (coaching) sharing Youtube Videos

Is there any interest in me providing advanced/high level Dota analysis and discussions in video form on Youtube?

I don't really have much time to play anymore, and being able to make some guides and videos is less time consuming than playing at this time.

Especially since I don't see myself playing this game actively anymore I would be willing to give away everything I know about Dota without concealing any techniques. I would be happy to give an extremely indepth analysis about tiers and characters as well.

For those who do not know, I have two over 2000 elo accounts all obtained solo without smurfing or boosters. Previously, many years ago, I was a professional video gamer as well. That was about the time when 2 people middle lane was popular.

you are talking about 4~5 yrs ago in mostly in CM.
basic 2mid combo was Lich + nuke or Lich + stun were most common.
I believe that 2mid things started in ADC league by MYM team. i was in How.korea during the time

5-6 years ago (aka the last time i played professionally) we were abusing lich with am mid, or lich with sven. Now these strategies have died :P

I've been looking into video capture software. Seems like FRAPS is the way to go. I will start getting ready and at the latest, release a video by the end of September.

Depending on the demand for these videos, I will also take requests for Q&A sessions, specific videos or explanations, hero analysis, etc.

You won't get a very large audience from making DotA videos. It's just not popular enough as there are many games, such as DotA 2, Heart of the Swarm, and League of Legends, that just overshadow this old game. If you're aim isn't for a large audience, but rather for anyone willing to watch it, then by all means go ahead and make them.

As for video capture software, FRAPS is indeed the best way to go since you're not forced to play in windowed mode like with other software.

Gift for the community. Thanks for recommending FRAPS. I've been looking into it.
