If we made all bots autobalanced, it'll encourage more people to use smurfs.

why should we make it all autobalance? we like to play with friends.
you guys like to call it stacking because no one wants to play with you because you're noob. how is that our fault?

Hopefully they can have an auto-balancing system because the heroes are not really that balance.

Well that's an issue for the mapmakers to work on.

I just wanna chime to say, I've seen the autobalance idea tried on several platforms. Dotapubs, THR, Dotacash, etc. It has NEVER worked out very well. People simply do not like not having some control over who is and isn't on their team. I can understand that a lot of people don't like stacks, but there are MORE people who prefer to play with who they want to. Therefor it is a terrible idea to enforce randomizing swaps in all game modes.
The fact that the current auto-balance isn't catching on very well, should be an indication that people don't really want it as a whole. I myself enjoy playing against the heavier side so that I can quickly move up the ranks in terms of ELO. The whole idea of elo is that a very stacked team will have little reward with a BIG potential loss, while the flip-side is true for the underdog team. A lot of players actually like being the underdog and want the high risk payouts.
So in summery, I think that if you are unhappy with a stack, you can easily look at the stats using the !scores function AND by looking at the stats sidebar under current games right here on the website, and determine that you don't want to play that particular game and simply wait for the next one. I believe that is a much more viable idea than trying to change what is currently working.

what about making a vote shuffle players command. so u can make it where if u have 7/10 players vote to SP then its kind of like an autobalance in essence. or maybe not 7/10 make it 5/7 or something because there is very little time to get everyone to SP within the time frame they give you when 10/10 players are in lobby and game starts. just an idea

I think Aizen really said the best thing to be said here. That's really it, end of story.
Nutz I don't think your idea is bad but honestly even 5 votes would be asking a lot when most people are alt-tabbed, afk, or don't care about even paying attention to chat. And as you say there is very little time even assuming people are paying attention and caring to vote. Unfortunately the biggest downside to a vote is that you'd be asking stackers to vote against stacking--I can't see this vote being passed, ever, even with perfect conditions of people all voting. I know I for one sure as hell wouldn't bother because what happens when the friends on stack get voted to shuffle? They leave and join another game (which is exactly what complaining player should have done in the first place).
Or, even worse, then you have a traitor/spy on your team helping his friends on the other team--and yes it is very easy to do this and not show any evidence of it, much like being careful with MHing you can never be caught if you do it right...you can easily feed information and plans to other team and never actually be guilty of "feeding" yourself with kills or ruining with items etc. And I have seen a LOT of "team stack" type players have the PERFECT mindset for this type of griefing--"fine, they won't let us team together, then fuck them I'll teach them a lesson, and ruin their game hahaha"

i think you meant me not nutz lol. but yeah i knew it was a bleak hope but i figured if we give "the complainers" something it would subdue this matter once and for all. but yeah, i could easily see someone ghosting because they got swapped to the wrong team.

Why are you noobs still arguing over dota 1? This game won't last long enough to invest in a new mode or actually handle this stacking issue. And stacking isn't the issue, it's the lack of match making. Also, let's be real, if you can't beat what remains of the Ent community even in a 5 stack, you should just quit all together. Virus says something about friends, he has no friends lol... he plays with people who increase his win percentage because he can't win alone, that is the difference, he probably still plays EM (jokes). But really angered Ent player who created this post, just go to Dota 2 and do yourself a favor, there is stacking in D2, but the games tend to be much more fair and balanced. Abandon the dying age of dota 1.

Watch out some pro shit here. So pro that thinks dusa is a shitty support that shouldnt farm over his rexxar. A rexxar with no summons. I guess too hard to micro. And with agha rush, then bfury lmfao. If the dota2 community is consisted by guys like him, things are worse than LoL. Btw, how many days u stay low priority for rq on dota2? Can't remember
