Imo, 6.79 is not meant for em, and i like ar games, so my only option here is arem. It's a map that's made for competitive gaming, so let it stay as it is on ap bots. (To be frank, i don't rly like some hero changes too, like slark and wisp.) I find it stupid that in em u get insane amount of money, while u lvl up too slow, so u may have full item build in ur hero before u even hit 18 lvl. That sucks for support heros. Besides, I get weird lags and spikes in new map everytime there's a big teamfight, so thanks, but no thanks. 6.78 ftw

Yall should just stop hosting noobs em games and start hosting non em games only and see how people have no other option but to play non em

I don't really see what the problem is with updating to new map???
if anyone of you give me a reason why?? i'll gladly answer your reasons with why your reasons/logic don't make sense by saying " em mode is em mode regardless of patch", you/people play em mode for a reason and that reason being is that games can be shorter? compared to non-em and/or people gets to buy big items early compared to non-em even with lack of game skill/understanding mechanism/bad game sense" so to say 6.79 is ????? (fill in any reasons) to complaint about new patch in em mode is just waste of time. because in the end, if you're so concern about your issues? you wouldn't be playing em mode first place? im not sayin by any means non-em mode is higher skilled cuz its really not!! game mode doesn't define skill of the players! only players in the game can define how skilled match game could be. so this is literally not a problem with new patch but issues with players it self.

More reasons? Ok. Jungling in new version sucks. I freaking love junglers, i have tried it with many heroes usually with success, bc jungling helps u lvl up fast so u can gank early and win game. In new vers, no matter how many camps i stack, my lvl up is so slow that i rarely hit lvl 6 before my opponents in lane lol...

I said yes, but consider to either:

Keep6.78c em modes + 6.79e non-em (current state)

Or

Only host 6.79e non-em modes and get rid of em modes.

I seriously think gold mechanics on 6.79e for em modes is shit.

From here on whenever there r new changes...new heros...etcetc we cant stay playin 6.78c, so plz get rid of em modes!!!

what are we trying to say here? that EM mode is played not for fun but for competitive purpose??? why does it matter if new patch is up to date with new map on em mode?? do you people seriously play em mode with competitive mind set??

Idk but i think there must be a reason why even in dota2 pubs ( not competitive) em mode doesnt exist... em is a whole different world, thats not dota..

My vote would be to scrap the "EM" games entirely.

People will never learn to farm/jungle efficiently, last hit properly or even understand hero roles such as late game/early game, support/carry, etc.... if they've only ever played "EM". In "EM" you only choose hard carries because support and early game ganking heros become useless after first 15min....

Quite frankly I think "EM" is a bit of a joke. Brings down the skill level of the community as a whole. Dota is supposed to be about strategy and teamwork, not who can spam click fastest on the phantom lancer/drow tavern Icons. Just my 2 cents....

The reasons have been posted and re-posted ad nauseum, but here goes again. 6.79 ruined the game for anything but carries. Increased gold and decreased experience ruined the parity of heroes. Also, the minimal experience from jungling took away a really fun/different aspect of the game. I vote to keep 6.78.
