All Things Boots

Just wondering if anyone had some good general advice on what to consider when choosing which boots to go with. I play -em games now because that's all that seems to fill here on the east, but advice for either mode is welcome.
Anyways, even in LoD games I now find myself leaning heavily on power treads and mana boots for some reason. I also go for travels or phase boots as core on some heroes, and I literally never get tranquils. Should I? I know its highly dependent on the heroes we play, but am I valuing these at all properly in today's game? In the past I've abused both phase and travels when they were OP, but it seems to me the best bang for your buck these days is in treads or mana boots??? How does it go in higher level games, I can imagine travels are still tops as map control is a much greater factor?

well to start it depends mostly on how you are doing early and also on lineup. I won't get into all the details, but if they have a strong solo pusher such as thd or tinker or wolf bots are a good idea on any hero. If they have strong early nukes treads gives u hp. If u want to afk farm or push/counter - bots.
I rarely see people use new tranquils, but one hero I love them on is pudge. Provides early armor and insane regen and very good speed as you are scouting for runes or scouting to gank. U can always sell later if u need bots
Only heroes I get phase with are kunkka, jugg, ursa, viper and sometimes slardar bristle rarely cent /axe/am
Mana boots I almost never get except for early storm and goblin shredder , then I dissasemble to make my bloodstone. I get them if im sucking with mana dependent heroes like ember, but if im owning i get bots or treads and have enough gold to get mana from stuff like linkens/jango
all other heroes I get bots or str treads, treads are just so useful- especially for that little mana boost when u need itby switching to int
oh and i also get jango on 60+% of heroes

Tranquils can be used on Axe Riki Brood Kotl - heroes where you don't need to attack to do damage
I get phase quite often: Ursa Mirana Lifestealer Slarder Razor, quite a lot of heroes where movement speed matters
Arcane generally good on Non-int supports eg Tide Earthshaker Nyx

It all depends on ur style of play, hero, and enemy.
Mov speed(roaming): tranquil, phase, bot
Recovering/sustaining in lane: tranquil, bot
Farm(jungle or lanes): tranquil, bot
Mana problem or mana dependent hero or team with many magic spells: arcane
Against enemies with ms advantage due to skill: phase, bot
U can either go tread +poison or phase.
Bot is mainly for lane farming, frequent gank, and multi/split pushing.
W.e boots u decide to go...u just gotta remember wat ur opportunity costs r and buy different item as ur core or mid game transition item accordingly.
Wat u get for heros shouldnt be same everygame, but changing every game depending how u should be playing and who u play against.

dont trust him, he even forgets to buy boots on some heroes and then he bans his team for leaving him behind
https://entgaming.net/findstats.php?id=3080499#side note, better don't buy phases on heroes with critical or bash, bc when u're phased all ur crits and bashes are fake thanks to wc3 engine
