what are the dos and don'ts for this great hero? I have seen many item and even skill builts that make me wanna scream. When would(n't) you pick him..etc ?

When im side lane, i go (soul ring), jango, vanguard, travels, shivas, heart, pipe and maybe bm or necro book depending on the case. I max fire and aura first, to make the opponent carry completely unable to farm. If im mid, rush radiance, travels and then i get heart, shivas, assault.
In any case, i get early travels and push all lanes while i keep my ulti to escape ganks, making opponent team afraid to leave their base. Thats proly why i never lose with pit xD

yes, his aura is so underestimated..i mean.. up to 48% of base dmg. this is awesome. I have seen people rather skill stats than his aura or when i witness people going bf on him or other dmg items.. I could go berserk! he gets dmg easily enough with his aura..and he doesnt need bf's cleave when he has fire..
due to his low attack speed he simply isn't made for many items. but like you mentioned..assault is very nice on him..ur carries will thank you..and you have a decent attackspeed then.

I am very sophisticated when it comes to pit lord..and people chosing item/skill builts for him (I had been called a noob enough times for a similar built.. *for my skill i do understand*...and i often enough flamed people going different ones^^)..but I approve of your play style, sir!! (as if it matters^^)

TRAVEl, DAGER/force staff, HEX, NECRO BOOKS for middle game is enuf.) And there is the substunatiate, as you stated before, he is actullay good push hero. Thats why this item build gives you a lot of advantage for it.

Loth u play pitlord very often and just a tip. Pick after your enemies. Because sometimes pit is bad pick. Also loth , If u always play same heros all the time u never learn or get skilled.

hmh, I do not play as often as I used to.. and when I play..its private games with reallove and some other people.
..and I dont remember when I played pit the last time.
Because I tried some new heroes and I dont know how..but I sometimes have hard times pressing the stun with pit I do it too late or so..and since I played these new heroes..Pit feels so slow..

Here is what I lately play: Puck, AA, Ench, WR, Lina, Morted and ofc Krobelus.
I love Puck. He is the opposite of Pit.. so mobile and quick.. its awesome. And usually I do not even suck with him... now and then I even get FB
Ofc my puck will never be as good as yours, with the chasing and juking and all but I really enjoy playing this hero.
AA is great too. Maybe I will even write a guide (Sadly I am not kidding..^^ the thought is somehow absurd..but I think I know some good tips I can share )

Just go counter items pick ...When u need disables - make Scythe/Eul.. When u need slow them - get slow items (Shiva,Atos) ... When enemy has inv heroes - make Necro ... Or get some strong auras for your team .. Having meka on front hero like pit is not bad as well, Ac for carry, pipe when they have strong magics...
The power lays in his items choice that gonna counter enemies and help his team with support items...

he is one of rare people calling me "loth" (but the "noob" next to my name is missing ). some others that did as well told me not to play another hero but only pit (while I am in a team with them haha ^^)..
you could be yaph tho:) (he had like 100 accs)

whoever you are.. I dont like your bf on pit^^ but I guess on you it worked..so should be fine ..(maybe^^)
