I agree, quality medium-high skill DotA games are non existant. Therefore its dead unless, you count the shitty pub games that boil down to leavers flamers and afkers everygame. At least in DOTA2 after you climb a certain mmr you can expect to have quality games with almost no leavers or afkers. Ent dota is on a slippery slope and its gona continue to keep losing players largely due to DOTA2 and the age of wc3 itself, and partly due to the lack of suggestions implemented. I myself made a suggestion which went over their heads. I doubt the mods and admins care too much about dota anymore. It seems like their primary focus has shifted to other maps like LTD and such. The last effort made towards dota 1 was when nabo hosted the dota tourney. My 2 cents.

100% on board with you Franky Poo. nabo did a great thing with the dota tourny! I have never been happier about dota until that moment and the Clan High inhouses. Now it seems that a lot of the skilled players have disappeared and moved on. It doesn't bring the same joy to me as a gamer like it did. Hopefully we can get that back one day.

ive been playing for years. dota has always had ups and downs. you can still have great games with pubs but the greater majority of players are in fact switching to dota 2. i for 1 will never go back to dota 2. its just not my thing. so i will stick with the shitty pubs and bad graphics until i retire this game once and for all.

I don't see Dota ever dying. Yea sure the client that it runs off of is really old. But the map is always fun, regardless. Just my opinion. I played dota since 99' and I still go through all of the same motions sadness, anger, frustation, happiness, relief, etc..
