I am getting less elo then my friend?

Just curios did the elo change? do 2k elo players get less then like 1k elo players?

Thats the sat page i got 7.72 my friend got 10.29 just wondering if it has changed at all.

Yes, 2k elo players get half the elo gain of 1k elo players.

You will lose less also when you lose a game.

So by half you just mean less? Last I checked 7.72 is not half of 10.29.

The higher you go into the 2000's the less you will receive i believe.

Main point is, the higher the elo you have, the less you will lose/gain.

Half was an example, it isn't exactly half, it's variably different. You can look here for a little more about ELO Rating systems: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elo_rating_system

check this game out 2.6k+ elo player only lost 7.7 elo while the other teammates loss 23.09 elo

After 2k elo players gain less/lose less each game... Its how the formula works... The higher you are you gain like 1/4 of what everyone else wins/losses
