Name: Aaron
Realm: Currently us.west but i've only ever played East.
Expierience: Been playing for almost 9 years now, started on RoC Euls Dota and Ladder games. Followed dota over to TFT and have been playing it ever since. I've played on numerous profesional teams and have had dozens of sponsors. Never won any real cash, at least not enough to make a living on. But some of the bigger tourneys put out a $500.00 US top prize which we won a couple times. I can find tonssss of replays if anyone wants to take a look at some old school like 04' through 07' dota..late 04 and early 05 is when creep CS'ing became important. Denying came into play. The team I carried for into the finals of many tourneys was Clan vR on US.East. Also named 4th in top 10 teams of Profesional dota. "http://nadota.com/showthread.php?5357-North-America-s-Top-10-Teams-4-Virorum-Reges&highlight=virorum+reges"
The vR post is about 70% accurate, if you read down it you see kainin informing spit-wad about some different facts. Anywho he mentions a couple teams and I've actually played on most of them, either as a start or backup or even just a ringer.
During that time when my friends from all teams, because back then all the clans were us.east for the USA dota teams and the people you played with were familiar with each other because of clan TDA. I started gradually stepping away from professional gaming and started taking on training people and backup/ringer for my friends mainly. At the same time I started forum work with TDA and all the affiliates (dota-allstars.com/tdabots.com/playdota.com) I made it all the way to a global moderator and full channel access in TDA (as a grunt just with bot access) before I stepped away completey. I've since been back about a year or so I found about 20-25 guys that went on to play professional and are recognized world wide now. We were all friends back in the day before anyone got "good" and it's such a weird feeling meeting those guys in the same clans that were remade by the remaining players on us.east almost 7 years later...It's a good feeling knowing you helped an organization like Clan TDA strive for so long, untill ultimately coming to it's end just over a year ago. I was there till the end on it...Forums/clan went black for about a month or 2 than popped up for about 2 weeks and everybody who's been around for almost 9 years exchanged information and shit if I ever head out to California I got a couple guys who helped create dota who said they would meet up haha.
Anyways I've got TONS of experience in almost everything dota related from the creation up untill now. Any questions or advice at ALL please don't hesitate to ask. PM or find me either on battlepudge@uswest or vR.Bp@useast
Or ask a question right here!
