The purpose of this post is to document an infraction by the player Shadow(x). There's been a lot of drama in the past around this player because he loves to talk nonstop and typically is talking nonsense, talking shit, or trying to pick fights. After many instances last year of people kicking shadow from games because of the fighting, or shadow leaving games, or people literally logging off battle.net when shadow is in the game, we had to have some conversations with him and try to make him understand he needed to calm down and rage less if he wants to play in DIHL. We gave him multiple chances and eventually his behavior did improve a little bit. As of Nov 2017, on his new accounts / reset stats or whatever happened, he hasn't had a single rage quit. There's been some mild to medium flaming in some games but nothing that was so bad that I wanted to do anything about it. Well, that's what happened tonight, a game that was just a tad too ugly for my like. I am requesting a 3 day temporary unvouch for this 1st documented offense of excessive flaming. But to be clear, there are many more instances we could point to in the past if we really wanted to.

I would like to also state that shadow flamed me directly in the game lobby for the next game, and it led me as well to not want to play, and so I logged off. I have no proof of the chat in the game lobby, maybe I'll take pictures next time.

Shadow is not someone you can reason with, when you try to explain something he'll just say fuck you and start throwing insults.

Not surprise for me because its classic shadow. Even though he doesnt trash talk to me, its not nice for me to read what he says in almost every game. He needs to clam down.

Support request to temp ban Shadow(x)... He makes game unenjoyable, hes demotivational to team spirits, and just generally unpleasant to where I want to dodge if hes on my team.

From experience he flames support players if they don't do what he says.

To be particularly honest with you guys, I'm not sure why it took this long for a complaint. He comes into games acting like he's superior to everyone because he "doesn't play as much", when really, he's probably on DotA 2 all night and day. He flames individuals and insults them to where many avoid having to play with him or simply play hostage to his violent and unpleasant demeanor. Don't get me wrong - DIHL needs as many players as they can get if they want to continue hosting games. But when an individual is capable of causing disinterest among players who have a genuine interest in playing these games, it 100% warrants a ban. And I've never played with the guy but just reading his insults and catching his behavior once or twice was enough for me to see why it could be bothersome playing with him.

Zam, theres been plenty of complaints in the past and we've 'banned' and 'unbanned' him several times in the past when things were more unofficial. Now that we revamped the rules and started using discord more, this is the first official complaint in the 'new world' as of several months ago. If the behavior continues we'll move to a permanent ban.

Ban him immediately. Enough with the warnings and non sense. This guy flames and throws every single game ruining the experience for other players

Completely support this. I recently had to ban him from our Ventrilo server for the same. It's worse when you have to hear his voice...

Are you trying to imply that they are the same person? Because that would be silly to the point of foolishness.

In any event, shadow deserves to be banned. He's always been a troll/thrower. There are many many people who refuse to play with him.
