Poll: Trial mode week

Heyoooo.

We have decided to run a trial mode week again, starting on Monday, August 11th. Please put your votes (up to two) on the following mode(s) you want to be the standard mode for this time:

-apgmcb 2 bans each: Red and yellow both ban 2 builders each in the lobby chat, those builders can not be used. All players can freely pick from the remaining builders.

-apgmcb draft: First red and yellow ban a race each, then red picks a race, then yellow and orange pick a race, then blue and teal, then green and pink, then purple (so 1 ban each and then 1-2-2-2-1 picks). In this mode builders are unique, so no two players can have the same builder and players on the same team can "swap" their chosen builder once the draft is finished and both players agree to it.

-sdgmcb: Ya, nothing special here.

The mode with the most votes will be used as the standard mode during the said time. Happy voting ^.^

My recommendation for draft would be to have each side ban teams and choose them at the same time. Because of mm, they can each pick independently without influencing the other team.

E.g. Red bans a race for east and yellow bans a race for west, then red and yellow choose. Orange and blue ban a race for the opposition, then orange and blue choose. et al.

and roll based on race will lead to very long boring unchallenging games.

You crazy you call out luck as a factor in the mode you have most control over. you get 2 races to pick, atleast you have some sort of controll of your towers, you actually call sd more luck then prophet, you are a fucking troll. This entire game is luck based. you cant controll anything in prophet, other then rerolling and let luck decide next tower set.. I dont understand how sd can be more luck then prophet, when sd atleast allow you some sort of controll of what you wanna build, contra prophet "here is 6 towers, if you dont like them, reroll and chances are you get the exact same towers" now that has nothing to with luck at all, pure skilled players know how to reroll into archers 10 out of 10 times.

Edit: Sorry I forgot vote was AP not HP, my bad, however I still belive that SD would change enough to make it interresting, I think that AP - Draft/ban simply will get out of controll, and in 4v4 it will be a chaos man holy shit. But I agree with you ap draft was a fine tourney, my favorite mode I played so far (Including MH mode that tourney, I still wait for the poll to play without fog)
