The locked thread

Postby Qvist » Tue Feb 03, 2015 6:17 pm

So i just watched the mortar game, many mistakes for sure, but 157 income 7-6 and 1600 value on 10 with mortars is actually pretty good.
All the mistakes he made was how you played in the old days, if he join LIHL, after 2 games he will know what he did wrong.

Watched the turrets games, again many mistakes but 1 mistake made the outcome of this game. 4-0 on 2. He manage to hold 8 and 10 with 7-6 100 income on 10. 2 games in LIHL, and that mistake wont happen again.

Aqua game: pretty good also! 1 mistake harlot on 7. Perfectly fine for LIHL.

@Qvist

Opponent leaked huge lvl 3, and lvl 5 and I think that was main reason he could reached 157 with 7-6 imo.
Anyone in LIHL might have been play better than him ofc.
To be honest, I didn't see later part of replay after his building Meliai for lvl 7 because I thought it was enough.
For me, it was way too disappointing.
Imagine he did same thing at LIHL, do you think he would not be complained for his play?

I also want to vouch him if he is okay, since I was one also bad at LIHL and improved a lot.
But, this one is not even close to okay, imo. ( except mortar, building neo at with nm at 10, leaking lvl 5 without their send while playing turret, etc. )

Michealsong i agree with you, it wasn't pretty but as i said - thats how you played in the old days. HOW THE FUCK should he know how to yolo mortars if he haven't played in LIHL ? Give him 2 games and he prolly adjust better than you did.
Maybe let him observe 2 or 3 games.

@Qvist

When I got unvouched, I did review all of my replays which I played.
I also practiced a lot in 1100+ when I got unvouched, and what I thought 1100+ is pretty similar to LIHL, since most of games are played in LIHL rule.
Additionally, I watched numerous replays which you cannot even count. ( I think I almost watch all of replays of top runners at that time)

My point is,
If he had eager and passion to enter LIHL, is was not that hard to see replay of several LIHL replays and compare thoses to his replays.

Watching 1 LIHL replay > better than playing 10~20 games with pub players.

I agree he is playing better than pub players, but compared to LIHL players, he is not good to enter LIHL.
Furthermore, imo, EVEN 1100+ players know how to play mortars.

fyi, I regret I did long comment on his application which could be interpreted like I'm very critical at him.
It was my respect to him which I can do my best.
His attitude and hostility totally ruins my respect.
Imo, I don't think he is ready to enter LIHL.

Michaelsong we got you, you played with jack77pd and you don't like him?
You canno't complain much about his replays. He 100 % fit for LIHL, vouch him and tell him he shall observe 3 games before playing.

You don't even get my points.

I would not have wrote that long answer if I didn't like him.
I do not waste my time, just writing big mistakes and let deny.

I watched all of replays which he attached in his application.
I'm just making my judgements considering his replays.

It is not even close to trial vouch for me.
Finally, I won't comment more before Hutzu and Diablo_ give their opinion about jack77pd's replays.

Should definitely give a trial vouch. I think any player who is almost there who applies should get a trial vouch. He shouldn't be accepted on the basis of those replays though, whether he will improve in a game or 2 or not, those replays aren't good enough. also he was a bit of a dick to wolf about wolfs analysis, every applicant is told what they did wrong, its how you know what you did wrong. I see where he is coming from though, I was pretty upset when 20 people told me how shit I was when I applied the 1st... and 2nd time lol

if he cant get a trial vouch best option is to hang out in lihl chan and go 1100+ with lihlers and to watch some replays imo.

The point is that u explain me your decision to deny my vouch sayng this:
( To be honest, you're better than half of LIHL these days, because there are so many LIHL players who play not good. I'm willing to be strict on this in nearby future. )
I have not requirements to play in Lihl?
U have not requirements to be a moderator imo

Did he say that or was that god.lik3?

After watching 3 out of 5 replays, I can understand wolfwarrior denying your vouch-request. That mortar-replay alone was really really bad. And he explained you in your request why it was bad in detail. I'm gonna watch the other 2 replays now.

It was not my thought, It was god.lik3's opinion and he influenced me to PM to you like that because I also liked you.

i dont think u should dinie jack's request
he plays better than half league!

I DIDN'T THINK you're better than HALF of LIHL after watching your replays.
SORRY about saying PM which was god.lik3's PM.
SORRY about making you confused.

If you doubt I'm not appropriate for Mod, please complain at Complaints, not here.

Don't make me regret more I used LONG TIME to write long answer in your application, which was my respect to you.

I think jack you should be given a trial vouch since he was an old player might as well take some time to adjust
MichaelSong wrote:Don't make me regret more I used LONG TIME to write long answer in your application, which was my respect to you.

Thought you did that out of your own volition? Why would you even bring it up?

Best to just drop all the chit chat and await the decision of the mods really.

I think Wolf was trying to help you with his comments, he just wanted to help you become a better player.

The things he was saying were correct, I dont see what your problem is, also dont do a personal attack here, it makes you look childish and rude.

@ArMeDaNdDeAdLy
It was of course my voulnteery work as Mod and I wanted to give him tips which MIGHT be helpful. The reason I bring it up is he is insulting me with I'm not even qualified for mod, which could make someone mad.
I liked him very much ( before he goes to complain and showing hostility attitude against me )
But, I wanted to be neutral in Mod position because it is not the place you show "You're my friend. Vouched!"
and since I'm also person before being mod,
I feel sad when he claim I'm not appropriate for Mod, when he is not answering my questions which could explain what was his intention of playing yolo like that, which could be interpreted he's awkward at yolo. ( since each player could have different thought, ofc. )
Is that enough explanation?

Finally,I already discussed with @diablo_ in chat.
We're waiting for @Hutzu 's opinion.

All moderators went through watching all the replays and all threads which are involved with jack77pd. After careful descisions between LIHL Moderators for a long time, we have decided not to let jack77pd enter into LIHL.
Case Closed.
Moving to archive.
