I want to make the LIHL community aware of something which i found to be unacceptable in LIHL games.

In short BA_Fail; During the game, went afk on 3 separate occasions and left to take a shower in the middle of the game.

Here's some evidence;

I was alt tabbed, i was constantly alt tabbing back and saw the game still on pause so thought nothing of it and continued to alt tab to check on other things.

Game was resumed so level 15 could pass.

Paused again for BA, another 5minutes pass

Again he goes afk leaving us to wait several more minutes

Game ended 3minutes later. Summing thing's up the game was probably on pause for a total of over 10minutes. As i played a roll in this game, I'll let another moderator look at this.

Yeah that was crazy. My team was gonna lose lvl 20, so that was a real timewaste right there. Shovering and cutting meat ingame lol

All that needed to be said I already explained in the chat. Things like real life issues happen to some of us, and I doubt this will be the last time something like this will happen to me.

I told you guys on lvl 12ish I might need to get off soon becauce my dad wanted help cutting meat for his 2nd job, which I only told you guys so that if you wanted to remake right away instead of wasting "more time" in case I was called to go help and wouldn't be able to continue playing.

Afterwards I got a call from my mom to go look for some papers which took me a bit longer then expected, I came back and beep was Afk about 3 minutes, to which I said to unpause when he gets back and pause when we needed to send since I held that round and the next easy. I was only gone about 4 minutes anyways and they decided to keep it paused when beep got back which I don't understand.

I don't have much say in when I need to go, I have tried to make this situation have the best outcome for you guys. I will take any punishment, I just hope some people here will understand there are some times when you have no control over what goes on. And an instance like this might happen to me again so take that into consideration.

I can't be sure, might not even happen again, this is just out of my control. I wont afk more than twice, but I may need to leave in the middle of the game but there might be some changes which would reduce my Elo and give everyone else some anyways.

No one wants 3v4 games, because u need to leave in the middle of the game. Is it possible for you just not to sign for a game if so? Sign only if you are sure u have at least 1 hour of free time

Yes I can do that, but that will mean I can only play maybe three games a week? There is way too much uncertainty for me, so i'll just stick to when I know I wont get taken off or I'll tell people I might need to get off every game before I sign and let them decide.

Thanks for your responses. In the future please only !sign into a game when you have the appropriate amount of time (at least 1 hour) that you can commit to playing the game in its entirety.

If you are guilty of excessive afk'ing during a game again it will result in a temporary ban and final warning.

I think iightfyre got the right decision here, just don't join when you think you may go off.
But Ba_fail don't deserve a ban for this (IMO) it happened once out of ... how many games he played ? and even if I understand that players can be annoy to wait for him, you can understand that he tryed his best to play it, even if he can't do what he want in real life (his parents rule !).
I bet some players would have simply plug pulled, so the game would have been drawed. I know ba_fail for a long time, and he isn't the kind of person who enjoy ruining games or to make people waste their time. I think situation went out of his control, he just didn't how to handle it (maybe nothing good was possible for the game at this time^^).

I think we should speak about the problems encountered during LIHL games rather than pointing the finger at the players, we all make mistakes

= people know we are talking about them or their mistake, LIHL is for the community, to enforce it, so keep it friendly
