Re: Maphack in Legion
Okay, I guess I am too late for this to become personal. Beep, I am sorry this became a personal flame thread again.
As for the original purpose of this thread: Are you sure agreements was serious about this? It seemed to me to be more of a sarcastic comment, especially since when I look at the maphack ban requests for DOTA it is about fog-clicking and suspicious behaviour. Those things won't happen in legion td, and the only reason you might detect a maphack is for something that isn't possible to happen: a program that detects maphack. However, if this is not the case, I am of course very curious and eager to make it happen.
I am quite fond of Iznogood's suggestion. However, I am not sure that if someone maphacks, his replay will show no fog as well. If it does, it seems to me a very good idea to ask all players to save their replays for 7 days, and that mods can ask for any replay that was played by the player in the last 7 days. If they fail to reproduce it or if there is no fog, measures will be taken. Note that this does not mean you have extra work for this: in the options section of wc3 there is an option to automatically save replays. Can someone enlighten me whether fog is shown when someone maphacked or not? This solution stands or falls with that notion.

You don't stop playing because you grow old; you grow old because you stop playing.

No Im not. I never used fogclick detect.
Fact is you have 1600+ elo vs #2 with 12xx elo.
You have a gigantic edge on your opponents

Re: Maphack in Legion
I want you to answer this question
I can't even win 2/1 games so it's actually very disappointing for myself and probably everybody I'm sure hate2lose and feor would be there abouts, like i said I'm not going to give out my ways of thinking since it's about the last thing im ahead of for everyone, in HR i started the build on each other tactic.
In LIHL i use to send lvl 2 before everyone started doing it in every 2nd game.

Re: Maphack in Legion
Lol how are you supposed to win 2/1 games? Teams are autobalanced and your opponents are not monkeys
Do I have acces to all your lihl replays? You obviously wont have a problem with me looking at them and making some statistics
