Meshtar wrote:If people wanna suicide and push hard just make them decide to do so pre-10. After 10 no selling to push or to clog, just to build stronger stuff as discussed before and any selling after 10 is easily ruled by mods what it was for.
The concern was that some players do not wish to make suicide "too powerful" by eliminating the pre-10 limit on sell. By removing sell limit during arena, we allow for >300 value units to be sold, while making the extra push not too powerful.

Re: Selling value
what the hell is so hard about to keep the 200 rule
and theres a reason why nm cost 215

Re: Selling value
clog is too stronk and we all know it right? selling 200 after at 15 is one of the main reasons for it, i dont see a problem with just adding
"dont sell anything after lvl11 unless its for a tok " (sometimes u gonna have 2 sell at 11 if u wanna leak for 15 force etc)

If you want to leak, you can split.

No. There's no reason other than brouder's decision to make it 215. Implying that 200 limit was set at 200 to differentiate and discriminate between different sort of suicide units is just ludicrous.

Well, it is 215 because it is worth 215 gold. It is slightly better than a halfbreed (195) for instance.
And Broud3r didn't decide nightmare's cost, LISK did, as far as I know ^^

Re: Selling value
the prices of the towers were set even before clog or cross strategies were invented... with ur logic we could say that messiah is better than blaster price based? also ancient wandigo? theres not any rationale behind the prices of given towers... they were set many years ago and im 100% sure that the person that was developing the map did never ever guess that it was gona be played like we do atm at lihl

Before level 10: don't sell more than 300 gold per level.
After level 10 and before first arena: you can sell any amount you want.
After first arena: selling is not allowed except for holding better (e.g. selling for tok upgrade etc.).

Re: Selling value
Selling post 10:
I would remove any kind of selling allowed or gold saved in order to clog more on a send lvl. Selling value in order to push or clog after lvl 10 started should be directly avoided
Guys, to suicide pre lvl 10 is a really valid and needed tactic, but i think 10 lvls is enought to understand if you are a holding or suiciding line. What we should really avoid (and its stated on our rules since the begggining of times) is that clog should not be allowed. At least we should not enforce it after arena.
Wanna see ur views on this because we are trying to handle suiciding pre 10 and clogging post 10 with same rule and for me its clearly 2 different things

Re: Selling value
Any progress here? There have been two different polls on discord, which - to my understanding - would exclude each other.
The first poll was basically unanimous, seems like the majority roots for that?!

Re: Selling value
So the suggestion of Diablo_ will be adopted. Will be in rulebook next saturday. Let's say it also counts from the moment it is in rulebook, for clarity's sake.
Code: Select all
Before level 10: don't sell more than 300 gold per level.
After level 10 and before first arena: you can sell any amount you want.
After first arena: selling is not allowed except for holding better
