I am not talking about 3 months work, I am talking about individual games, where you play vs 2 or 3 in your roster. It would be silly if you are in top of betting league and in no gain/no loss position in LIHL and you wouldn't feel a bit happy if you lose vs 2,3,4 players in your roster.
Anyway, for me this is the perfect solution in which you can try it. You can have your betting league, and you won't be playing in the 2 leagues at the same time where losing in one league can mean winning in the other.
If you have problems with compulsory self-draft (for example because Tin will probably get more Elo than the others), make some ranking for the 10 players based on last 2 seasons for example, and they autodraft themselves based on their ranking. E.g. rank 10 has to buy himself for 2 dollars, rank 1 for 30 dollar, so that the difference in Elo gets compensated.
The solution will mean only games in which you are outnumbered by players in your roster need to be nullified (you vs 2,3,4 players in your roster, you +another vs 3,4 players in roster etc). I am sure the people in our league will think with you in that, so most games you can swap in such a way so you won't have to nullify. But I really want you guys to make this rule and publicly show that you commit to it (for example, make a thread here where you post the games that need to be nullified for your rankings), so you can show there is no conflict in interests to everyone who is not involved in the league.
This work will really have to be on you 10 guys who want to have this betting league, not on the rest of the league to put up with you having more advantage losing than winning in some games (not saying it WILL be abused, I agree with all of you saying that the people are involved are generally fair players, but in a fairplay league we are just not going to provoke this kind of conflicts).

I'm totally fine and in agreement that if its shown that there is a potential of a +45 or more elo game for losing to the enemy team then swaps can be be made to balance it down to 30 or less or if no swaps are made and the player does lose then that elo of 45 or more will be subtracted from the total elo of said players roster at the final average. We can keep it as an open thread or in a google doc to be monitored.

Cool, I would want to see that in any game you are outnumbered by your roster though. I am sure it can be done easily. I am not saying this just to bug you, or that I don't want the league. It is just necessary for this betting league to be acceptable and not a bad experience except for all the people involved.
You don't stop playing because you grow old; you grow old because you stop playing.

I'm in.
Looks like you have plenty of people. I will pull out of this. Work is getting too busy and I wont be on much.

Other than that, the only necessity I see is that the pool money is transferred to ENT directly and rewarded from ENT directly (without any third-party), too.
i have no problem letting ENT handle the prize payouts, rather i find that preferable. However I think since the players themselves are doing all the legwork, ENT should contribute to the prize pool.
Re: LIHL fantasy league
I'm excited to hear about the LIHL fantasy league and the unique approach you're taking to it. The auction-based drafting system and the emphasis on player skill (ELO) are interesting features that set it apart from other fantasy leagues.
I'm particularly interested in the potential for online casino integration. Could you elaborate on how you envision this working? Would there be opportunities on the league's outcomes, or perhaps use cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin to participate?
I think this could add an extra layer of excitement and engagement for participants.
I'm definitely interested in joining the league and look forward to seeing how it develops.
