As an alternative to channel bots, players will now host the games themselves... for now.

How to host:

If you are admin, just whisper ENT28 (or ENT27) !priv <gamename>
Example: /w ENT28 !priv lihl22z

Make sure to name your games lihlxxx

You will also join lobby as an obs, so you must swap yourself and your fellow players to the spots in the teams. I think votebalance still works. If not, do !sp and start. I ask that the owner of the game locks the game by using !lock command to avoid having 5-6 players using commands all over the place.

Those players have been added to ENT28 as admins:


I have added these players as admins at random, the goal is to always have at least 1 admin available to host games at any given time.

ENT27 being down at the moment, it currently has no admins on it. However, if and when it comes back on, @diablo_ @n1ll3 and @nore will be rootadmins and they can add players as admins by using the command: !addadmin <name>. Same goes for ENT28: currently, lihl mods are not root admins, but if the bot relogs, they will be root.

Keep in mind that every command will have to be done through whisper. For some reason, host bots sometime log into battle.net unable to receive or answer whispers. If ENT27 or ENT27 log online without being able to receive whispers, let me know.

Lastly, keep in mind that I won't babysit with in-game commands. LIHL mods are free to take or give away admin access at their own discretion. However, if you add ANY admin to ENT27 OR ENT28, you will have to log their name on a topic in LIHL Administration. @Nore @n1ll3 @Diablo_

LIHL Mods should have root on ENT27 only. If not the case, let me know.

I don't mind adding you as admin, though. Currently, however, only LIHL mods can add you to ENT27. I will be able to add you to ENT28 only tonight.

As for USEast being down, it should be back up at at 1PM PST.

Moreover, do not start games by using !start force command. Instead, use !start to avoid bugged stats. If everyone is not spoofed, the game won't start so make sure you spoofcheck.

Edit: Post below can be ignored for now, the LIHL channel bots are back and games can be hosted normally again (!start !sign etc.)

Short summary on how to host a game:

1) Only players added to the bots as admin can host games.
2) Admin writes "/w ent27 !priv lihlxxx" or "/w ent28 !priv lihlxxx"
3) If a wrong map gets hosted or you get an error message contact hazardous (or if not available lihl mods)
4) The hoster/game owner should write !lock
5) The hoster/game owner should write !hcl nmns
6) All players must spoofcheck (either use h3rmit gproxy which does it automatically or write "/w ent27 sc" or "/w ent28 sc" depending on what bot was used)
7) The hoster/game owner can !start the game. This also shows if someone is not yet spoofchecked (don't use !start force!!).
8) Enjoy the game.



Explanations:
4) If !lock is not used all admins can use commands like !swap etc which can cause chaos and can be abused hence !lock is recommended.
5) !hcl nmns enables the game options "no mid building" and "no fair send" which should be used in LIHL.

Only thing which you must not do is:

That's the reason stats stopped recording between yesterday and today. The map must be "lihl" not "legion td mega 3.42" or stats will not record. The bot is set to automatically host lihl map, so refrain from using !map command.

If a wrong map appears, contact me instead of trying to fix on your own.

Good to know. After the bots joined bnet again after maintenance ilocos tried to host but the bot responded that no map was loaded hence he did it

As you might have noticed, LIHL bots are now back. Given the fact we are basically waiting to see whether they will get banned again or not, I won't remove everyone's admin to ENT27 and ENT28 just yet.

From now on, you cannot use commands in-game unless you are the game owner.
