What a sick roll you had archol, too bad you couldnt enjoy the game fully with such a giftroll, because of failing to see eye to eye with your ally.

It is a good question you ask, and one who many others have asked as well. Your ally obviously wanted 1 thing, and you wanted another. This issue has been raised several other times as well.

If you give it some intellectual pondering I'm sure you'll come to surmise that those who cannot make compromises either have to be forced to do it the right way ( if you are indeed certain it is the right way) or you always go along with what they want. Either option has its obvious disadvantages.

I watched the game and this is what happened: Achilles wanted Archol to go 7-7 and up king, Archol said: how do u want to kill 6 heroes? Achilles said; you don't read, I said we can up king, but fine: do what u want (play safe).

Thats it.

The only thing you can blame him is that he didn't say send during lvl 7, and you had to send after level 7 missing income, but that is really, really minor imo.

I can't see anything that he was mad? He only said he didn't feel like discussing the matter if upping was enough - he said it in a normal polite way, seems perfectly fine to me.

You say in game he is raging - I don't see that at all.

I fear you (I mean all 3 posters above) have interpreted way too much in that game and Achilles did nothing wrong. He let you play your tactic and never stopped talking or playing.

I didn't watch the replay, but I just want to throw some opinions in here:
1) You can easily go 7/7 and hold lumber/upgrade king and be totally fine on 10. Especially if you say it from start on and your teampartner overbuilds so that he at least holds his bosses, and possibily even some of yours, the king will take the rest.
2) I don't see that Achilles was raging or even mad (from chat log).

I do agree with Archol that going 7/7 in 2v2 with any units often risky, unless you're very certain the other person have good anti-10 and is confident he holds at least 4 or 5. BUT Achillesgr did say very early that he would overbuild 10 and hold 10, and suggested to send 5 and already start upgrade - If you had done that, you wouldn't have to heal 7 also. And also enemies would maybe had been afraid to send 10, since you didn't send 7/8 and seems to make a big send 10, which indeed can be deadly in 2v2. So I must say you both failed to listen to eachothers suggestions and need to trust eachother more. (: ^^,

Well you didn't accept his ideas at early game, so why'd expect him to accept yours and teamwork with you? Anyways discussing is what helps the least in such a game, which is most likely also why am experienced player ended up leaking, because of following reason:

A) He got distracted from discussing.
B) He lost all motivation to play a game where there is no teamwork.
C) He lost hope to play a game where you ask enemies to draw.

I'm speaking if experience here. To answer your question, the best solution is to learn from it, and another time don't lose hope or blame anyone, just move on and try to focus on the future instead of the past. I know it's hard, but its the only way to turn such a situation around, ^^,

If you are far behind and know that you have no chance to K.O. in the next couple of levels, or in his case, he leaked a lot and needed every gold to catch up. But if course the best choice had been to upgrade king and send hard 17 or 20.

I haven't watched the game since I'm not home, but I read the chat and as Mickey pointed out, there is a lot of misunderstandings / bad communication. And he asked you not to write because he needed space / to focus?

Archol just accept you both didn't have a good game and move on. Anyway, the game was 7 ELO so the chances you would win weren't that great.

This thread could just as easily have been made the other way around.

Seriously, I have never seen anyone have 7-2 wood with archer AFTER the arena in the LIHL before. We have rejected people in the league for that. As many have pointed out, 1. Achilles could have compensated, 2. King would have compensated. Lastly, you say to me Achilles says he would hold lvl 10: read before you start complaining:

(01:08 / Allied) Achillesgr: no
(01:11 / Allied) Achillesgr: go 7/7/
(01:14 / Allied) Achillesgr: with archersplz
(01:29 / Allied) Achillesgr: i can hold10

Here he said he can IF you go 7-7. Later:

(21:43 / All) archol: we would lost on 10
(22:05 / All) archol: lol we would lost if i went 7/7
(22:14 / All) Achillesgr: i could build
(22:17 / All) Achillesgr: i didnt build

In other words: he did not build for 10 because you completely threw away the advantage of archers because you didn't trust Achilles.

Now take a look in the mirror and go back playing after that.

I don't say you should have followed him blindly. I just say you both had a different tactic in mind and both had good reasons to do your tactic (although I would never go 7-2 with archers after arena). You did not accept his tactic, and he did accept your tactic. He did not teamkill, he kept building.

Like I said, he did not have units to go income but he had to income a bit because you overbuilt. If I could choose I would always let the player with archers go income instead of letting a player with steam tanks try to go some income.

Sending lvl 9 could have been a mistake mb? He didn't send a lot anyway.

It seems to me you only see evil in Achilles, while I see someone who (is maybe a bit annoyed that u overbuilt) tried to win a game.

His behaviour is perfectly fine, so I'm afraid there is nothing we will do as mods. People are allowed to make mistakes in the LIHL, so sending lvl 9 won't lead to actions on our part.

If you want to avoid this you might 1. accept it that you both can make mistakes, and that the outcome of the game is a combination of both of your decisions, 2. stop interpreting so much: some things you interpreted that are not necessarily true: a. he sent on lvl 9 on purpose, b. he was mad c. ba_fail agrees with you that achilles leaked on purpose d. that he did not want to teamplay. 3. just move on after you have had a rough game. We all had those and we all move on.

I don't see where supersexyy says he doubted he will hold 10?

Anyway - as you might imagine after my explanations, no action will be taken against any one of you. I understand you were angry, but I hope after me showing 'the other side' of this game you can see how the outcome was a combination of both of your actions.
