ok it's easy fix.. when you unzipped gproxy.. assuming you installed gui version.. there u have 3 files.
find w3lh.dll in the proxy folder and copy and paste it into your wc3 folder - click replace.. if needed.. and problem solved

you also got to run as an administrator in the gproxy application file. Right click it to do this.

bit is correct. the msvp100.dll is part of Microsoft visual C++ 2010 update. You need to either

1) install the .dll file manually from the internet
2) update your windows via Windows Updater

I think #2 is safer and easier to do

If you finish your updates, gproxy shouldn't have a problem finding that dll file. Everything SHOULD work :-P

I also have troubles with Gproxy. I followed the guide and it worked during all steps, but when I connected to battle.net (with Gproxy as domain) and tried to join the channel (clan lihl) it just said "This channel is restricted". Any ideas?

i believe you connecting to the wrong realm, clan lihl is on useast, so you need to edit the realm in cfg file (if you using GUI version)

Hmm okay, in the guide it said that default realm was USeast, so I just figured it would be the right one from start, gonna look at it now and see :=)

Edit: How do I open the cfg file? :S

use the notepad

for me, gproxy.cfg looks like this

Code: Select all

bnet_hostname = europe.battle.net
bnet_game_indicator = [G]
bot_port = 6222

# patch 1.25 changed the offset in war3.exe where game.dll was loaded
# gproxy uses by default the offset value for 1.25.For 1.24 set the loader_offset to 4549476

loader_offset = 4549532

i use europe realm, check yours, if it's not useast.battle.net, then change it
