Trial mode week

Based on this poll: viewtopic.php?f=72&t=36160&start=10

The trial mode week, starting on Mondey the 11th, will use -sdgmcb as standard mode. This mode can only be changed if everyone in the game agrees to use a different mode.

This event will start when the chat message announces it and it will end after one week, again when the chat message announces it.

I like the -sd mode so far cause u always have a decent mix of towers.

Some facts:
-The chances that a player gets a certain tower like archer/aqua/turrets/mortar or spawn/ygg are two times higher then in hp mode (assuming people dont reroll) because the prophet rolls only one tower/per stage while in sd you can choose between two builders ergo two towers of each stage. And yes, u can rr for free as prophet, but in most cases you wouldnt even if you got no yolo or hold towers because of auras/good mix etc.

-sd definetly encourages the current, most played meta 3x yolo 1x hold. At least one of 4 players will roll nature or beast (wich are in my eyes the best hold races) also gobo can go for hold. And the others will mix archer, aqua, scientist, nightmare, prisis, turrets, pyro etc. (Even hatchling yolo works :D). And since you choose of two races the chances to get one of theses are 84,9142%

-ok I made that number up, but ill make a probability tree later and provide you with the real chances.

-There is still a luck factor.

-All in all there are more games where >1 player/team has archer





I support -sdgmcb, you cant realy mess up (unless you are @AllahoeAkbar aka Justin Biber aka tubbytheKING and ruin your mates game, whoever vouched him needs an unvouch)

Problem with -SD is less skill on lihl since you follow a certain pattern in the way you build.
Example:
Yolo = Yolo

Beast => spawn ogre, wisp, bear, 2. bear, grey gnolls, grey, spawn (lvl 7 here) vs send 8 another spawn,

Nature => ygg, tot, yggygygygyggg maybe tot up, depends on leaks.

Gobo => Im not providing my secret gobo hold build :D

I totally love this mode. Definitely better than the hpmmcb mode.

I see it as a more balanced, but less fun mode, as a lot of the variation is gone here (as ilocos said, you build almost the same every game and don't have to "find" a good build like with prophet).

That is true. Though I would say another element has been added, which is when to switch builder. I have lost 2 games already because paladin ally switched after level 10, while we had no good anti 15. I had paladin so far twice and I keep it until after lvl 15. I build dragon hawks after lvl 10 and occasionally upgrade one of my small archers. I leak only the demon and kraken. Dragon hawks are definitely no waste of gold and neither is upgrading 2-3 elite archers. I don't quite get why people are so eager to switch so early. I rather leave lvl 17 to my allies and build anti 15 and 20 with paladin.
