Hihu,
i don't understand why we have to draw if someone dcs prior to lvl 20, but not after lvl 20.
Both prior to lvl 20 and after lvl 20 there are games when a team would most likely be the winner / or close games why only draw pre 20?
Seems fairer in my opinion to either draw upon a dc or to not draw,
I don't get why we link this rule to prior / after 20.

Re: rule of drawing
I actually do not know how this rule came into place.
One of the previous lihl mods or diablo might know.

Re: rule of drawing
Rule has been in place since the very beginning of lihl. The draw rule after dc was carried over from hr, but people complained that being forced to draw after playing for 50 minutes was frustrating. So level 20 was decided as the cutoff. That being said many games after 20 were still being drawed in good spirit.

Re: rule of drawing
This rule is not a 100% fantastic rule as not drawing when someone dc's is just frustrating as fuck, but with that being said if the dc was at the winning team game often ends up being drawn and I hope we wont have to remake the rule to specify to draw when the leading/winning team gets a dc. When the loosing team gets a dc after 20 I think it is only fair it's played out - ofc. I draw most of the times if it doesn't seem suspicious in any way and dc pen can still be applied so it's not a total loss

Re: rule of drawing
Personally I like that rule. Personally I would even set it to ~lvl 15.
It's just frustrating to draw a game after playing it for one hour and as Krumme said dcs past level 20 are adressed fairly most times, that is close game = draw, dc on winner team = draw, dc on loser team = play on. But ofc it's still up to the players to decide.
If you have a suggestion to change it please make a (neutral) poll about it :p
