Being Sniped

Well I am sure everyone that reads this has been sniped at some point and know how it feels. Pretty much I waited 20 min for a game patiently got a game that game gets unhosted... I try to sign for other but people already signed so I get beat.... The game is hosted and played. I am not sure of the rule here. I just would like for everyone to not be fags.

Rules say there is no such thing as being sniped. That's also a reason why you should be careful when unhosting a game and rather start it if it's possible that someone will lose their spot (or swap the players in instead of rehosting).

Mod sitting around watching people put different modes in without people agreeing to it, followed by mod himself abuses !unhost...

its simple yet ppl try to impose their choice.
standard mode is hybrid, if one person refuses to switch modes its hybrid.

and the way to ask for a different mode is, " can we play a different mode if no one minds", not some imposing non sense phrasing"

I just left a game, before even having time to pick mode, i have to fight back players who try impose other modes than standard, mode selection time out, and one player instead of picking default hybrid goes prophet.

anyway im just going to stop playing on Europe time i think.
i dislike 4s and dislike more the frustrating atmosphere some players from that time zone create.

Korea time we have great games and a total different environment, very enjoyable.

then they start 4s, and wolke goes to insta unhost the game and go to the 4s

that´s not really true. We played an S4 before and i think 1007 got sniped so we unhost and wanted to start a new s4 with him. Electro ryanius me and all others signed, but we 3 signed the s2 but didn´t want to play. Electro and ryanius joined the s4 and i joined the s2. ofc i unhost it, since we can´t play without the 2 others. I know it´s bad to get sniped but i can´t chance it if 3/4 didn´t want to play the s2 since we wanted rmk. Brave knew that electro ryanius and me didn´t want to play.

Soo..what you are saying... while I went into the 2s and waited for you guys to come, u started a 4s and then u came into the 2s and unhosted?
Thats not snipe, thats just unhost because you dont want to play the game u signed for, which is agaisnt the rules.

There was more players, like 3 4 waiting to play, thats the reason i agreed unhosting. and 3 of us wanted unhost .i dont care if there is 2s 3s or 4s, but i think there should be noone that have to wait 30 min to finish a barely started 2 s to finish in order to play.

the rule about unhosting didnt changed till now, so atm it DONT matters u want to play it or not. if u dont want to play it, dont sign, its simple as this.
if u sign, and then sign other game its YOUR fail!
just take the 2 secs to write !players in channel and look what game is started atm.

3-4? 2s were unhosted, 4s were created with 2 obs and 2-3 players sitting out in lobby with no game..that means even with that 2s being played there was enough players to play another 3s... so that argument doesnt work..

As no one disagreed in Lobby or in chat after game started i figured it was ok.

If you want hybrid and wrong mode is selected there is always the oppotunity to say so and draw the game / rmk hyb?

sometimes you get sniped, sometimes you are the sniper (for me its the best feeling ever to snipe psyclone)
its more like gentleman agreement for example not to open a 2s after a 4s is aborted . no rules needed imo.

I agree with hbc and brave, yesterday i saw enough people who got sniped or just unhost although not everyone agreed

Well, i know that sniping is unfortunately normal nowadays (especially at the previous seasons) and i didnt care much, but when u all say its legal then i will unhost all the time when i dont like my team rofl or when i want that certain players can join the game
