Need eldryan suggestion fast

Since lihl is accepting a lot of new players i think eldryan's idea for the start elo for new guys should be implemented.
All new vouchers shoud start with 800 elo and on the end of the season they get 200 bonus elo.
Why is this?
Its simple...when they come we have alteady played a lot of games.
I will do a example from myself
With arround 700 elo i sign for a game...than a lot of oldscholl players that have 850 - 1100 elo also sign...and also new players with their 0/0 and 1k elo...
The game will result on me and 3 new guys against a full oldschool lihl players.
Amother example: beep signs with his 1600 elo already conquisted, than i sign, stathis sign with 800 elo and another one with 800 elo. Game will be beep + experience players against full new vouchers, result? Beep wins more elo
The system is not working good because of that.
Last seasons we didnt have that much new and active players.

It's not a bonus at the end of the season, it's a bonus after they complete their trial vouch - and the size depends on where their elo is.

rules do change. that was actually the second poll, as you can see in the thread...

we've made double build illegal, then legal, then illegal again, etc. multiple times. changed delay rules. admin abuse rules.

this is really a good suggestion when new vouches aren't great, however it seems to be less of an issue recently. new vouches have been pretty good by and large because the metta isn't that different from 1100+ where LIHL players often play anyways.

there are so many new vouches right now, it's not necessary. however, it would improve the system; especially towards the beginning of the season. it's just not to the same degree as when there's only one new vouch team that's just getting farmed all day long by a high/low team of like krumme at 800 and diablo at 1100.

The suggestion was made primarily with the idea that this would put newer vouches not only in lobby with more balanced team, but the better players - leading to less flaming, more clear-cut team formation (not everyone debating over sends) etc.

The only new players I've seen have been ok, but due to my connection I have yet to play a 4v4 in LIHL and maybe only one 3v3.

If we're going to bring up my old suggestions, the one I would recommend is the banning bo/ghoul on 32 just to mess up splits - although split is a part of the game the bo/ghoul often leads to stupid strats that aren't really related to lvl 32 so much as potential exploits of game mechanics. https://entgaming.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=83&t=24424

Im new player in lihl aswell. I dont think this should be changed. If new vouches want to l2p better and well, they should do it againts better players. I joined in a time when there were alot new players and teamed up with them and yet i havent been under 1000elo for the momment. The start with 800 elo wont change anything.If u want better and more balanced games, the vouching system should change(u get vouched when mods watch random replays of urs, not he perfect one u picked) . Even if i get flamed for this, i think there are "oldschool" who dont deserve playing in league.

Eldryan you mean Krumme at 1100 and Diablo_ at 800 right ;D?

Anywho - I think that this suggestion would have had more impact back when we had different strategies - with the new much more simple strategi which is also used at 1100+ bot. I think there is less reason to do it now than before.
But with that being said, I think it's a reasonable suggestion even though I don't think it's as needed as it once were (new players higher skill or new strategies require lower skill).

In regard to what MrNoob says - I do think mod should pick out random replays and judge from them but I guess that's an entirely new discussion.

What are the cons if we implement this? MrNoob said new players should play against good players to improve, however, with the suggestion balancing the lobby ELO, your opponents would have good players, too.

Really not many cons. Before it was just a lot of effort to get uakf.b involved.

Also mr.noob didn't read the whole suggestion, as the players (once advancing into full LIHL) would get the ELO bonus and vs similar opponents as they would have.

What would uak have to do? Reducing one's ELO to 800 can be done by FMs, too. Or do you mean something else?

I like the idea and perhaps we can implement some parts of it with the reform.

@eldryan , I did read it all. I dont think its a really bad idea because all new players will get teamed up with highest elo players but u forget there are many oldschool and good players who are around 800 so its not really going to work.
Also, i like more to play in team with new players in lihl, who all listen to each other and do their best to proove theirself rather than oldschool players who think they invented legion and we must do what they say. Maybe half of my games are vs beep or artmas in enemy team with oldschool 800elo players and i dont think it was such a big deal? Game is the same for both. All that a new player needs is to adapt fast and have brain(brain>balls).
