Pew smokes at the start of every game more 2 or more minutes thats common knowledge I dont feel im obligated to wait
me or any other of the 7 players...that happening every season every game....i dont mind if someone have a problem i can pause for more than 5 min if need....they are many cases that i wait more than 5 min or people had to leave and i draw the game even if we were 10 lvl +...

p.s. if everyone were to pause for such selfish reasons as to smoke at the start of every literaly we would wait 30 mins to play...
and i also say I DONT MIND IF SOMEONE want to smoke for ONCE (HE MIGHT had a lvl 33 game and want to smoke i can understand that)...but not every game

I like you pewpew but I agree with achillesgr.

people have a need to urinate, grab food, smoke or simply take a couple min break between games.

in my case it always was 2 to 3 min, which is not unreasonable break between chained games.

If it your suggestion that this is not necessary and games should be chained one after the other with no wait time, then you should ask mods to remove the 5 min time slot allowed to join the game lobby and make it immediate join required.

I agree with every word pewpew says and disagree with the two of you above.

I agree with the rule needing to be changed. 5min x 7ppl=35min of wasted time. 2minutes for game breaks and 10min for emergency personal opinion maybe others can say. I have witnessed many games waiting in lobby for 7 min not saying its pew but it has happend multi times.

Simple. For any case, dont sign if you gonna afk?

Although waiting for someone who smokes and usually comes back within 2-3 min is a trivial matter.

Do not sign if you gonna afk. I dont see why you guys sign to a game and afk. Even if you do afk and come back, you should definitely not be going afk ONCE you joined a game lobby since it is obvious that the game will start very soon (since bot autohosts the game only once required number of players all sign).

If you are playing "chained games" and you need a break, do take one.

Some people tell me your afks arent always 2 minutes short. Do watch how long you actually afk. Just finish your personal business before signing up or at least before you join the lobby. Easy.

Based on my experience playing many inhouses and clan matches, I gotta say that the "wait time" is usually longer than pub games. So, try to be understanding and more patient. If similar instances happen again and the afk time is unreasonable, feel free to report.

Yes that is what I meant.

After you sign for game in chat you have 5 mins to join the game before it becomes a problem per rule. Regardless if you sign then go smoke and come back before 5 mins is over I see no problem with it. Longer than 5 mins once with a few mins happens but if you start doing it regularly it's a problem and should be changed and if not - reported.

From my understanding, once a game has been scheduled (!start), there is a 5 minute window for players to !sign into this game. If not, a new game has to be scheduled.

Once all 8 players in a 4v4 !sign and autohosted immediately by the bot, all have 5 minutes to join the lobby and start the game. If not, bot unhosts. Correct?

That is my understanding aswell, yes.

What does hbc mean by this? Doesnt anyone have 5 min from game was !start to !sign in? How does this 35 min work?

Everyone has the "right" to be afk for 5 minutes. If every player uses his pause it would be 8x5 minutes = 40 minutes of pause/afk. I guess healbycolor means that it is too long (tho this is highly theoretically and would basically never really happen).

I think the 5 minute rule is in a good shape, but of course everyone should try to get games started and played with as short breaks as possible.
