Starting next seasons the major changes we made are suspended. That means:

• ELO for DCs will be applied immediately with +/- for all players. Post the dc topic as you did in the past.
• Unvouches will be enforced immediately on a case-by-case judgement based on the old ban duration framework for moderators.
• You can post all unvouch requests on the forum again.

The forum wont be moderated anymore except by FMs (same concept as for Island Defense).

The following changes will remain though:

• Rules
• Vouch Procedure

As you might have noticed, the ENT administration has backed out of LIHL in the last few weeks, however, starting today we will be effectively leaving the board of control.

I would like to thank the community for trying out and testing the reform changes. As the rankings are obviously influenced by this, I will mark them as such. I hope the next season will be more joyful for you.

i think what happened is the new rules and new website for reporting encouraged players to report for anything, creating drama.
I think game played substantially dropped from previous seasons.

but thank you for all the work you've done on database and so on.

So.. The forum is moderated by FM's (Green) and not LIHL Mods (Orange)? Is that correct?

If I read that correctly then I have two questions:

1) LIHL mods only power is vouching?
2) Are the current FM's part of the LIHL or familiar with the game/rules and past judgements?

Forgive me if I read this wrong. The quote I took from you makes it seem like LIHL Mods won't be moderating the forums?

I am also curious what my job will be by your post? So I no longer watch the forums besides for vouches and do not handle cases? If this is the case I am not really sure what I would be actually moderating. Or do you consider lihl moderators the forum moderator considering LIHL a different part of forum?

You still decide the cases (you = LIHL-mods) but reds/greens process them. Am I right?

Case by case basis is reviewed by LIHL moderators I'd imagine?

@iightfyre Moderation in terms of forum rules enforcement. LIHL mods will no longer lock topics or delete posts; that's now the FMs' job. And no, FMs are not part of the LIHL staff or affiliated with them.

@HealByColor The administration, however, like processing (un)vouch or any other requests is still handled by the LIHL mods. So you do anything but lock or delete - instead, report posts.

@Guennter That's wrong. As stated, neither reds nor greens will interfeer with LIHL anymore (unless any major abuse or failure going on).

So most rules have been reverted back to how they were before. And LIHL can't moderate their own forums why??

Definitely want archive back

I would also like to see the Archive back. The archive actually has a LOT of uses. Most LIHL players would probably agree that it is a great source for citing precedence when new cases arise. It is also a nice way to remember what has been tried before and what does and doesn't work.

+1 for the restoration of LIHL archives

I would like to support LIHL archive and LIHL mods control LIHL forum threads. In the past LIHL threads were clean and simple to read.

It's more interesting to have no archive. Hate not being able to necro 2 year old threads.
