I have no problem getting kicked if I lagg in game when I'm observing. But I have a problem getting kicked in lobby because some fools think that I cause delay on the bot and thus affect the gaming performance. Also, since the coder of the bot himself, @art)y has made it clear that it is not possible. I hope that there can be made a rule about it because it starts getting discriminatory.

If a player who will play vetoes against someone obsing, he/she cannot obs.

Although reasons can vary from "you will lag us", "you will ghost" to "i dont like you", etc, it is true that players who will be actually playing the game have the say or rights whether to approve someone observing.

Thus, I dont agree that we need another rule, but perhaps arty or uak can clarify that obs lagging will not affect others to lag.

I am familiar with the juridical status quo. I was (more or less) subtly asking for a change of rules.

Not for reasons of anitpathy or myths (such as causing game delay). Kicking obs should be allowed if a player laggs in game or excessively trash talks in global chat.

Just apply for mod and you're sweet

So, all they gotta say is "im afraid he will ghost" instead of "he will lag me out"?

Well only if ghosting can be proven. Ghost suspections are based on sentiments. And sentiments are misleading.

I think it is more of an issue of trust which is hard to fix.

I think as long as the "rule" doesn't say you cannot kick an obs unless he shows the lag timer, then people can find all sorts of excuses.

Absolutely. If the rule would say:

Observers are not allowed to be kicked, unless they are...

i)... lagging or
ii)... disturbing. e.g. by pinging or trash talking.

Pretty simple and easy to process.

For my part, i think the current rule is perfect, since obs are guests , players should be able to kick if they want , even if i never kick obs.

I think there are rational (means not based on sentiments) reasons required to justify an obs kick.

Reason can be invented , it's all about manners. As i said i never kick obs, but even if we make a rule like this, i'm free to invent a rational reason to kick u, and we got the same result.

players can make other players lag, its documented in the LTD2 website.
but most ob kick are just pure hate
